Cub Cadet 169! #2 on the rare list!

Here is my newly acquired Cub Cadet 169! Produced in October of 1974 it is the 2nd rarest cub cadet. They made them for just 1 year, 1974 to add to the early wide frame tractors. It was then followed by the quit line series in 1975 which featured the model 1650

Congrats on obtaining your 169 Mike! I had one like that with the hydro lift around 20 years ago. The trunion linkage was worn out and you couldn't control the speed and back then I was clueless on how to fix it. Sold! Wish I still had it.
I bought another 169 with a manual lift. I went a little overboard on it's restoration but I think she's beautiful. Yours will be too. It's beautiful now! 😊

Glad you were able to find a 169 Mike! I actually considered that tractor before I bought mine (mostly because it was closer). That's a super nice original tractor.

Thanks!! I’m happy to finally cross it off the bucket list, the only tractor that remains is a 1772 diesel cub… the attachment bucket list is a different story lol… maybe this one will make it to the Lebanon show this year

I love a good farmall, I started with the farmall cubs and upgraded to an H 2 years ago. Very useful machine and fun to drive… always get tons of people waving when going down the road. Would love to get a farmall B or a C but space is limited
