    You have saved me so much time with this tutorial! I used to import custom details from Sketchup and at the end my 3D model was very heavy thanks to all the imported elements, so once again, thank you!

    This has been a good insight, profile manager seems to be an incredible powerful tool for some funky designs!

    Hi, great video. I should have learned this a long time ago. Very useful! BTW, where I am we call the wall around the flat roof a parapet. The attic is the space under a sloped roof.

      @VIA-studio  Před 6 lety +3

      Thank you a lot! Didn't know that. That's very weird. In German "Attika" is used for the wall around the flat roof and "Parapet" is used as a synonyme for a balcony. I will keep it mind for the future.

    By the way, I am wondering if you have an archicad course that we can enroll.

    Great tips. Thanks.
    What do you do that your render look like that? Some postprocessing...photoshop..some filter??
    Really great visual.

    • @VIA-studio
      @VIA-studio  Před 7 lety +1

      Thank you. Usually I do a lot of post-processing in photoshop. From the examples you see at the end there are two renderings directly from Archicad without any post-processing, the rest ran through PS. I've planned to create a video-series about Photoshop for Architects. But it will take a couple of weeks to realize it.

    What about hidden gutters? Do you apply the Profile Manager method to create them, or does they exist in some library as BIM objects? Thanks & keep it up ;)

    wie machst du den LED Streifen bzw. welches material verwendest du damit dieser leuchtet

    • @VIA-studio
      @VIA-studio  Před 6 lety +2

      Grüß dich! Du musst zunächst einen neuen Baustoff erstellen. Das geht über das Symbol "Baustoffe" in der Attribut-Leiste (kannst du dir mit Rechtsklick in deine Taskleiste laden) oder du gehst via Optionen>Element-Attribute>Baustoffe da rein. Dann klickst du auf neu und weist dem neuen Baustoff als Material "Leuchtstoff" zu. Danach findest du deinen neuen Baustoff auch unter den Schraffuren im Profil-Manager wieder und kannst problemlos LED-Leisten bauen.
