I typically prefer Hot Toys figures based on actual people, but the Arkham series has been stunning. The metallics really help it pop and stand out in a collection, especially when shown in that comparison shot (that red one is pretty sweet too).

Fun fact: Did u know that for Batman Arkham Asylum one developer yes ONE developer spent 2 years designing Batman's cape physics and sounds to be as realistic as possible that poor guy went through so much suffering for one thing

@@mephosto nah, it was Arkham Asylum, I think they used the same Cape physics for all 4 games because it was pretty too notch!
I love how many accessories come with this figure and the detail put into them but I wish they came with some sort of case to keep them in. Something Bat-cave-y to help hold everything like Deadpool 2’s shelving unit

What pisses me off about this skin is that when you unlock it, there's nothing left to do in the game. But it does look really nice as a figure.

@@oggamerz1784 new game plus also comes with super hard mode (knightmare) mode which removes predator awareness and enemies hit at lightning speed. Also they are powerful as f*ck so if you are a casual you are screwd.

But all these for just 40-50 $.
And a big Figure from Cyborg Ninja with big Sword on back, just from MGS Rev. & Adam Jensen both full Movement with many Gadgets, Deus Ex HR Coll. Ed. ~150$ these Times.

But for Batman, would be cool when it have a Thing to do he with spread Cape up there for glide Position! A small Podest.
For Iron Man the same, and maybe for both with lightning Eyes (and ARC Reac)!!
But i have Isaac Clarke, a movement Figure from Dead Sp. 2, too, with Lights like in Game! 👍😉😎🤩

Spot on - it’s not just a careless reissue, it is a meaningful trophy rendition of Batman to commemorate the moment you have mastered the game (240% completion). Ofcourse not just anyone would’ve held that title, coincidentally that’s also reflected in the rarity of this figure being limited to 500 so its fitting. Awesome review and great poses towards the end yourself ;)

The Batman Beyond is more outrageous as it is a recolour of the standard suit even though in game it is totally different at least the 240% suit is at least a recolour and therefore accurate but the Beyond Batman didn't have a cape and was way more sci-fi militaristic in Arkham Knight
They're also making a batman beyond figure

Thanks for this video. I particularly appreciated the comparison segment near the end. I have the original Arkham Knight Batman and I had been hoping to see that version next to this new one. I prefer the version I have but this Prestige Edition is very impressive.

As the owner of the original this figure really needs a custom cape, the only problem is it’s a fuss to install it! This new darker version looks great though 👏🏻

What would you say is the most obscure or unknown unboxing/vid you have done? Or what is the most obscure piece you have in your collection if you haven't done a video on it?

Some people complain because it’s just a darker batsuit with a gold symbol.
But I love it. A guy made a all gold version mod and people in the comments said that’s what it should of looked like.......what have those people been smoking because it looked ridiculous.

I was always disappointed that when I unlocked this prestige suit in the game it didn't have more blue like the gauntlets and boots, I've always wished they'd have done the cowl and cape in the blue as well, with less black and more Grey tones on the rest as to have that classic blue and Grey color scheme

I know, I know, The material/Posing for this figure is infamous since its a glorified reissue of the OG with Gold Paint... But I am glad that I'm getting the chance to buy this figure since I started the beginning of last year. Also definitely would like to pose this Batman with the Beyond and Batgirl.

I wished the regular one has the same grey as this, having played the game since 2015 it looks nothing like the silver that one got. I'll live with it, but it's nice they corrected it for this prestige 240% one

I don't like this figure. Very bad articulation, the suit is fragile and will start sticking if you keep the figure with bent elbow/knee, it's a reissue, the cape is trash(as usual), and why the hell are the gauntlets and the boots blue? They weren't like that in the game.

I really like this figure. Of course I don't have it but it still is very cool. I really like the idea of Batman having a black and gold suit. And Arkham Knight is a very good game so Hot Toys did a good job replicating the source material from the game! Good Review Justin!

You could easily make a prestige bat suit just get there arkham knight suit (idk if they have a normal arkham knight suit) darken up the armor and get a small painting item and get gold paint and paint the bat symbol and make the cape longer cause hot toys made the cape shorter but it still looks good

Love that it's the suit you never actually get to use in the game that it's based on even after 100% completion only getting it after completing new game + when there's absolutely nothing left to do it holds so many minutes of memories 😌 standing by the bat signal with a shiny gold bat sign on my chest was my fave! Really cool but it's roughly half the cost of a prime 1 studios or side show 1/3 scale statue so pretty much you can get 2 of these or 1 of those. I think I rather get the 1/3 scale.
