I have absolutely No Eyebrows Whatsoever.
Every color I use turns reddish on me, even Taupe.
I'm 65 with dark ash brown hair with bleached weaved through my hair. I don't know what color to use because I'm so fair complected. Could you please recommend something. I just Love your show. ❤

You should try shades of plum for your eye color. Also, try light shades of power eye liner. Bet it will make your eyes pop.

I love your videos! I am 46 now and im trying to embrace my new mature skin, but ughhhh the struggle is real! My makeup looks horrible now that I’m old! Its so sad 😞
It's going to be OK. Mine went through a bunch of crazy too over the last ten years, you might have to change up your skincare routine but it will eventually calm down. Primers are great if you aren't using one.
Infact, I didn't start using primer until 2 years ago, amazing difference. Let me know if I can be of help!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I tried this today with my usual makeup. OMG, what are different! My eyes look bright and perky, and finally I've been able to get them symmetrical: I have one eye that is just barely hooded in the other one that is extremely hooded. It's always a challenge.

I struggle choosing because yes, you can add darkness from the corner of the eye inwards, but then it doesnt elongate the eyes
yes.. so I do end sooner on my outside of eye and its in a more straight way than the usual windscreen wiper blending ...slightly upwards is good too.. but still ending sooner.. never going
beyond the outside edge of my eyes....
The hooded eyes are very common among the young and mature.This a great hack for all of us that share in this commonality.💯

I thought this was a ridiculous idea.. until I saw the end result.. it looked great.. I do have older hooded eyes and found ending earlier on the outside corner and blending more upwards also helps.. as I still like a more almond exotic look.. but this tip really does look fresh and youthful..

Older, hooded eyes? They’ve always been hooded and more hooded than your eyes, so this is a great tip for me. I have been wearing the shadow up higher, but not in a triangle for height. Can’t wait to try it!

As a 64 yo woman I’m finding that eyeshadow doesn’t seem to do me any favors these days , regardless of how I apply or blend it. What use to look smokey or dramatic, seems to look shadowy these days. I’m kinda bummed about this 😮
Have you tried wearing an eye primer?
@@CamilleCowher No I haven’t, would that help ? I also need to get peach corrector for dark circles since concealer alone isn’t doing it. Something drastic happened in my aging process all at once after age 61.

This is the second time I watched this, as I wanted a simple hooded eye makeup tutorial. That being said, I want to know what foundation, primer etc. YOUR skin looks fantastic! Thanks in advance.
Thank you, I'm afraid that this is an older video from way before I even considered posting videos on CZcams, and unfortunately I didn't have any way to note the products I used. I think this is a farmasi foundation because i used to wear it nonstop during the winter when this was filmed. I'll make a new video next week with it and see if it looks the same to you.

Good advice. I will try this. I always thought that putting the darker in the outside part would make it recede.
You are correct, putting the darker color on will make it recede. But look at my eyes, there is a lot of fat. If you have a different shaped eye, this may not work. Give it a try and let me know!
I find it defines it more.
This technique is new and i am in my 50's. Very hooded sagging lids are a challenge to someone like me who loves eyeshadows..

Looks great! I'm going to try this. The "put the eyeshadow in the outer corner and upwards technique" is not working for my hooded eyes at all. The Dome shape technique works though. This seems easier, so I have to try it. Thanks!
