BABYMONSTER - ‘Stuck In The Middle’ LIVE STAGE - REACTION - These AREN'T Live Vocals!!!

- I'm sorry to say it but these aren't live vocals. If people want to dispute that with me and give me solid live vocals then please, show me the evidence. But I really think it's unfair to showcase a vocalist or group with 'live' vocals when they aren't. The mouths don't match the audio in places, certain parts sound identical to the recordings and it sounds too clean to be live vocals. I'm not a big fan of this song because I think the arrangement isn't the best and it's a little boring to me, but I REALLY love the group and will continue to support them and my bias ASA until my death day!

I respect your opinion which purpostedly want more unquestionable live performance and the best for Babymonster, and I still respect to myself as well about my faith to our beloved artist Babymonster. They proved many times in their monthly evaluation during years of training period until "The Last Evaluation" show that made them become official line up. Every evaluation they did were live stage!! and they have been judged every month, and all were stamped PASSED. This time I'm pretty sure you judged wrong. Anyway, it's good to have discussion from many points of view. 😊
P.S. Pharita's high note & runs after the bridge part could be a highlight of the song according to producer's intention. The first hearing would have affected audiences differently because her voice texture is unique and exclusively standout from other kpop artists. After many time listening, I felt it's needed there. And your opinion about what it could have been something else, melody? rylic? drum beat?, was still interesting for composer, to be honest.
You must be new to YG groups, YG as a company does not allow their artists/groups to sing with autotune and stuff during live performances.. They as a company are infamous for their amazing live performances, if the artists can't replicate what they do on a track live, they will continue to work at the song until the artists (in this case BABYMONSTER) are able to hit those notes with consistency live.
You must have not paid as much attention as I did to their vocals 😅 New to YG groups? I know the entirety of Blackpinks discography, I am a big fan of treasure too and know the majority of songs from 2NE1 (also know that the black label which Somi releases under is part of YG too) - So you really did not do your research about me… which makes me question your research on YG groups. YG as a company uses vocal stems - these are vocals that play over the top of live vocals so the sound is clean and full. I think people are delusional because LIVE vocals are unedited vocals that are completely raw. These vocals are not unedited and are completely raw. You can literally hear how smooth it is. And if you paid attention to my video, you would understand that I’m not discrediting the groups vocal abilities. It’s just not a live stage. I grew up studying musical theatre and spent 3 years in London training in that field. I have experience in vocal editing and I also am currently training to be a vocal coach. If you want to argue that they are singing live, I’m sorry to tell you, you are factually wrong. Some of this song sounds like live vocals but a big part of this isn’t 😂 you know how you can tell it’s live vocals - because when people sing their volumes should be so different and they are all the same throughout. Some of the girls mouths don’t match up with the audio, some of the audio is identical to the recording which IS edited and the only way to achieve the edited sound is to… edit… the… sound… Please don’t make assumptions about me when you know nothing 😂
@@Torne2Pieces How can you say it is not live when you can literally hear them take breaths into the mic? and also if you compare the MV to this live performance you can clearly hear that the Pharita high note is shorter than it is in the M/V. Also, if you watched most of the Babymonster pre-debut stuff, you will easily see that Pharita did a similar thing where she hit high notes without showing any facial expressions... Furthermore, if you watched Last Evaluation, you would've known that the producers for BABYMONSTER when they are choosing parts, will actually swap parts so that each member gets parts that they can literally replicate live... YG puts a HUGE amount of focus on live performances and vocals... Also, it's fine we can agree to disagree, but I will surely return to this video... or comment on your reaction to their "Live vocals" when they go on tour or go on music shows to promote once they are OT7.. and when they do things "Live" in a way that makes you happy... and you hear that the performance vocally is the exact same.. I'm going to be laughing extremely hard at you.. LOL
Also, furthermore, if you watch Chiquita's 2 live vocal performances on the BABYMONSTER channel, you will clearly see whenever she starts to go into her head voice, she will close her eyes and make faces very very similar to those that she made here in this video.. This is to allow for more air, so that she can sustain her notes in the higher parts of her register.. you really do sound like one of those people that would've criticized BP when they were first becoming a huge group, there were also doubters that the members were actually performing live... so what did Lisa do? She went on the Tokyo Dome and literally paused after finishing her rap verse to clearly display to the public that they actually perform live and they aren't lip syncing
