I almost made the team for the Eagles in the early 80s. They paid $25 a game. The contract was so crazy. Whenever you are in public You always need to look like you're at a red carpet event. everything always perfect. hair, makeup and nails always done. No drinking etc. I got super intimidated and didn't do the last dance audition. My mother went with me and thought I was crazy to give up when I had gotten through most of the audition. it was all new at the time. I'm sure it's much harder to go through the process.
