Burt Reynolds had it all, good looks, personality, charisma, great screen presence, he was quite unique.

As bad as his health was, he still had his sense of humor and sharp mind.
For all the idiots who think he's washed up ... Burt came to Massachusetts to a convention last year. He was signing autographs I stood in a line that took 2 hours to reach him. He was gracious and exactly like I thought he'd be.
He will always be "The Bandit"

The Man is a true legend. Funny, talented, great actor, and handsome . My favorite image is the way he laughed in Smokey and The Bandit.

Always when a movie with him available in the german tv I had a very close connection with the tv set, wunderfull actor, miss him.

In his case, I don't think it was just age. He was also very sick. I think that if he didn't have his sickness, he would look a lot better than he does here.
She did a great job interviewing him. She was sweet and respectful. Some older people sometimes don't care what they say and it could have gone badly.

Burt is one of the great ones. Right up there with Bronson, Wayne, and Eastwood. Two of my favorite films of his: Sharkey's Machine and Deliverance. Smokey and all the others were great too.

This man is a legend. He was my childhood hero bar none. Smokey and the Bandit made a huge and lasting impression on me when I was 7 in 1977. I hope this new film does him some justice and it’s not a thrown together borefest. He deserves better and hopefully he got it. Can’t wait to see it.

My wife, son and I met Burt for signings and photo ops at Chicago Wizard World 2015. He was great and hit on my wife lol. The man.
I was at that Wizard World too -- just because Burt was there. When he walked out on stage with his cane, I almost burst into tears. I hate to see my heroes get old. But I sure loved being able to see him, meet him and take a picture with him. I shot video of his entire Q & A.
It was covered with his hand. Unfortunately, that cosmopolitan spread cost him the Academy Award for "Deliverance."
He hated everything about Boogie Nights, especially the director. After Boogie Nights, the director offered him a major role in his next film, Magnolia. Burt said, "No, thanks."
fox on the run, Hollywood sends out screeners and vote cards, and it's supposed to be anonymous, so who really knows why he didn't win. But if that's the reason, shame on them for it! But it's no longer the 70s, and a lot of new people are involved now, so maybe they have evolved.
