I too prefer games with detailed storylines and character backgrounds and interactions like this even if it gets emotional or dramatic at times, it makes it easier to get immersed in the whole experience better and you can also relate better to and understand each characters' feelings.

It’s sad somehow that they don’t chose these themes for the new games. Now it’s all so superficial.
