Mb14 can sing tenor, bass, soprano, rap, pop, beatbox, definitely deserves a spot in the final 💛
That's what I noticed most, not only is the looping great but the fact that he can do soprano, beatbox, sound effects, a LOT of instruments, sing, rap, do bass and loop it into a song is insane. How much talent do you need? And technically doing it in a second language seeing as he's French.
Most people can't do any one of those things, he does it all at the flip of a switch and also makes music with all of them together.
If you asked me to beatbox while rapping and also singing and also looping and doing sound effects and mimicking all the instruments to a song all in Finnish, I'd have a heart attack and die on the spot.
Honestly, I though the rapping sounded off, not bad but sounded more like a DJ pumping the crowd than the harshness you get with rap. Weirdly, I think his incredible vocal ability is too powerful.
His vocal control is on a god tier level. Gotta be one of the best loopers ever. His scratching skills are to die for as a vocalist, but he can drop opera vocals like it’s no big deal. Scary good stuff
He doesn't put all these things together at the same time. I think his synthesizer records his voices and then displays them together at the same time he sings.@@SaintPhoenixx
The brilliance of this dude is that his shows have almost limitless possibilities. He could bring in a dance crew for some of it, multi-media backgrounds, audience participation, straight-up singing (he has a good enough voice to do that)... I mean, it's a no-brainer for me. He's a champion.

Me too. Really hoping he is the wild card. I think the rule should be if a Golden Buzzer act goes out in the semi-final they get first look-in at being the wild card. The ones who have gone out so far are MB14, Gamal John and Chickenshed. Out of those 3 I would have to go with MB14 because although the other 22 acts are great singers, there are already enough singers through to the final, so MB14 would be the logical choice for a variety show. Here's hoping anyways XD
He's been in the Voice with this song before, and it's really impressive. This is next level. The way he made the bass line, that's extraordinary.
Bass line is actually fairly easy, search up lip roll bass, probably takes like a week to finally get used to it

Agree, his audition is stronger. This performance may be excelence in beatbox competition. But in BGT, the vocal of the lyrics is not strong enough to beat other contestants.

I think it's his singing ability it really is nothing special. His talent and the sounds he produces now that is special. If he went with the beat box alone he would have walked into the final.

The first audition seems to be better than actual one. The first one blowed judge's mind, compare to this one. Overall, MB14 is a very good beatboxer ❤
What happened was when they saw him for the first time, the judges may have found the vids where he went on the voice in France. There he used this performance too. That wouldn't have been as an original sound by the time of his semi final. He should have created something fresh and new. He will get a wild card because of Ant and Dec. Hopefully he brings something not heard before.
@@CZcamsNinga1he’s gonna alone in the dark, plus you can’t really blame him, this, pyramids, and alone in the dark are his favorites and go tos, I’m sure he was just happy to preform one of his favorite songs, if not his favorite, infront of such a big audience and stage.
He shouldn’t choose same song again, and… he shouldn’t choose song with so much actual singing because he is not good at singing. He has very limited straigh voice. He should pick more unique mouth oriented beatboxing styles songs.
@@mateuszbroszczak3736 Its not that he cant sing. His opera singing is outstanding and he has sung justin timberlake songs in the past and I sometimes think he his better than justin. He chose a song that is a rap song and his french accent did NOT mesh well with what we remember from the original "gangsters paradise" song. Also, his choice of beatbox style for the song was just too plain and easy. It was a beatbox that I literally could do.

I feel like if he auditioned with this one, and did Pyramids in the semi-finals he'd have won. This one is so good especially showing how good his singing is as well, but the impact Pyramids had was colossal. I hope he can get the wild card 🔥
yeh. This one just didnt SLAP like the pyramids audition. Plus his rapping isnt that great. Sounds cheesy. Everything else is top notch quality though.,especially his opera voice.

I am GLUED to the screen every time he performs. Not only that he is a great performer, but he comes up with his own stuff and he is fast switching back and forth. Full respect. Love it!
Guy has a stunning tenor voice AND a baryton voice in addition to his perfect looping skills! Just incredible!
He played the first role of a movie called Tenor, it's about a guy with a rapping background falling in love with opera. Very cool !

Love the updated version of this song. He done this on The Voice of France in 2016 and he has definitely gotten so much better.

He's already a legend in the beatbox scene, and I believe is fairly well known in France after appearing on The Voice over there a few times.

MB14, is the sound of future music. A rare talent that does not exist in current listened to music. The power of the voice is more unique, rather then instrumental, because of the many vocal differences in the human population. I truly believe in MB14 to be the creator of future music.
I would recommend checking out Kevin Olusola. He's a member of the phenomenal a cappella Pentatonix but he has some solo work in which he beatboxes whilst playing the cello. He is truly mesmerizing.

Unfortunately he set the bar high with Pyramids, and he made some weird vocal choices on this performance that doesn’t live up to his past ones. He either needed to strategize how he used his songs better, or come up with some even better new tracks.

I love mb14, been a fan for 5yrs now. Big respect to the guy. Honestly, I think he should've sang the chorus with his normal voice just like when he auditioned for The Voice. The way he did it back then was absolute 🔥, I love what he did here as well but it also sounded like he was trying so hard to deepen his voice. Still, that doesn't take anything away from mb, keep amazing us man!
You can see MB14's future so clear. His talent, his vibe, everything about him. He's destined to touch many souls. He's gonna sell out stadiums and arenas easily!

I feel pyramids, of course while being more 'banging', was weaker overall for the Semi-Final. Shorter, much less sounds. I thought MB14 did great and how I hope a wildcard this year will allow him to return..
