I remember watching Roy Tarpley in the playoffs one year and was just amazed at his skill. I have never used drugs. However, the story of Roy Tarpley helps me understand just how powerful addiction can be. If a man with the potential to make millions and millions of dollars if he would only stop using drugs is not able to do so, you have to acknowledge just how difficult it is to beat. Kudos to those that have been able to beat their addiction. That takes a lot of inner strength.
You are right about addictions, once a person allows themselves to enjoy that path of life, it is nearly impossible to comeback from. Thanks for the comment!
I saw him on TV and tell to myself this a future superstar in the NBA. I was completely sold. Then I heard he was suspended. Again and again. I was really routing for him then I heard he was playing overseas. Lost track of him until the news of his passing. This is sad. What a waste, he was such a gifted player.
I love this!!

As a Mavs fan I didn’t get to see him play, but the stories of how he performed was noteworthy. Truly a sad ending to a great athlete.
He wrote history in Greek league.
Etched his name in Parthenon stone
Your image of Shawn Bradley isn't Shawn Bradley. 😅
