- are masks the real reason why we hold back or are they just an excuse we give ourselves to restrain from sharing our true emotions?
my first class in this space was more than i could ever ask for. this piece was inspired by not only the song but from the recent past few classes that i attended in this year. I recognized a shift in energy that we’ve given each other, while having to wear these masks during the whole duration of the class. i’ve always believed that classes are a space to not only grow for ourselves, but to build a safe space for each other. a safe space that allows everyone to feel okay when we fail, to feel powerful when we thrive, to feel loved when we just step on the dance floor. but sometimes, we get so lost in the perfection of executing the dance and how restrictive these masks can get. wearing these masks, shouldn’t be the reason why we can’t support each other. it’s the complete opposite. mask or no mask, we’re still humans underneath and we all have emotions to give and share. a huge thank you to everyone who came out and gave it their all. it’s definitely a moment i won’t ever forget.

Kaycee understands Sean’s movement so well
she really does. noone can ever get sean like kaycee does. i miss her and her genius mind and how she gives an elevated meaning to everything. hope that soon they can collab again and with the same intensity as this. itd be nice to see them go super deep with a choreo like they used to and create something powerful.

Sean is one of those choreographers whose art and expertise goes far beyond the generic portrayal of dance. The fact that he comes up with concepts of such depth, vulnerability and rawness every time he creates a combo is so commendable and that is what sets him apart. Also the fact that he's what, nineteen? This amount of wisdom and clarity at such a tender age, boy oh boy....this guy has come so far and he has miles more to go and I genuinely can't wait to bear witness as he ascends. An inspiration in EVERY sense of the word.

Bailey’s performance with the musicality she has and doing Sean’s choreo is just perfect.Bailey slayed and her freestyle at the end I didn’t even notice she had lost her earring at first until I watched it again. I loved how she incorporated finding her earring in the dance while still hitting the musicality of the song and even the little pop she did at the end.Great choreo Sean and everyone did a great job.
Sean and Kaycee understand each other lyrically and translates beautifully in their dance. They truly love their jobs. And it’s amazing to watch them grow as artists and I can’t thank them enough for sharing their RAW TALENT!!!

the thing i love about sean lews choreo is not just that its incredibly moving, but its so technically satisfying. hes got musicality and technique and style and versatility and everything just blends well to form harmony. every beat is given justice to, even the ones that we dont notice. he somehow extracts those little unnoticed sounds and gives them character and life and i will always say this but i hear so much better when sean choreos something. Also I love how his dances give justice to the movers. he can truly give them something challenging and something to showcase their true ability. there are too many dances out there that are amazing, but just not enough to make you think of how talented a dancer truly is, until you stumble upon sean lews. and your like 'damn i didnt know they were capable of doing all that'

From "We will find it" to "Cold War", this is all starting to make sense to me. Sean Lew takes you right out of your comfort zone and forces you to expand your mind (and body) as he just makes you think that just when you have him figured out, he comes at you again with a variety of movements that forces you to grow. Mind blowing work by Sean.
Sean you are just amazing and I hope you know that i literally have nothing else to say your chorography always makes me speechless and Kaycee is such a beautifully story teller when she dances she understands Sean chorography so well

I'm coming back to this to say that Jake absolutely killed Sean's choreo! After seeing Sean attend Jake's classes in Millennium to now see Jake do the same it all just came full circle.

Storytelling doesn't have to be told verbally. It could be done, like this. The most amazing part of dancers can do is expressing themselves in movements. That's what we truly love to do and live for to share our story to one another.

I really love your classes sean. It's not always about the most intricate or hardest choreo since you dance to every detail, it's how you incorporate the message and emotions that come with it, and how you make everyone own this choreo to be theirs as they put in their own interpretations. Every single one of them did so well. Had goosebumps all throughout.

I have followed a number of the Millenium Dancers for years. All are amazing. I can't believe how much they have grown. So good to see them all. Sean is one of my favorites! This choreography is one of the best that I have seen. Oh my heart. I'm so proud of Sean.

The fact that they were all dancing the same choreography but the way they express their feelings and the way they dance is different. They all look so beautiful and amazing when they dance.
