Burkina Faso: From microfinance to pig farming

Since his childhood, Sylvère KORBEOGO has had a great passion for livestock farming. Despite 20 years in the world of finance, he has never really lost sight of this true vocation.
Sylvère KORBEOGO's entrepreneurial adventure began in 2015 with his first farm, which struggled to develop due to his lack of knowledge of the industry. But he didn't give up. He trained himself from books and internet tutorials. Armed with what he had learnt, he set up the "Symphonie" farm in 2021.
Pig farming is the main activity on Sylvère KORBEOGO's farm, although he is also active in poultry farming.
