When I watched this video, I felt Freddie’s spirit because his friends said beautiful things about him that only people who were close to him knew about him.
Freddie was a legend when he was alive and he will forever remain a legend!!!!
I was so lucky to meet Freddie and Queen in the 1970's.

This puts a smile on my face. Listening to his friends makes me "wish" even more that I had met him, had gotten to know him. Imagine being friends with this wonderful guy! Oh my, the experiences, the laughs, the conversations, just being spontaneous and enjoying life. He gave, he shared, he showed us how to be strong even at our most weakest and vulnerable moments. Oh how I wish I could have been Freddie"s friend.
Freddie should have embraced Hinduism, Lord Krishna would have given him a longer life...

As you said-the converstions would be so lovely. & something to treausure for the rest of our lives. I miss him so much, & even though he's not still alive his music will *always* live on. @@lyndam4698 Yes, This was so enlightening coming from people who knew him, his true friends. There was something so magnetic about him that made people want to be near him,. I only know "of" him, but the complexity of his life makes me want to know more. We mostly know him as a great performer but there was so much more to him and I would have been so honored to call this dear, sweet man, my friend.
I feel the same way. I would've been his friend until the sad and bitter end, right beside the rest of his devoted and loyal friends. Truly an amazing man with a heart of gold! 💕

LOVED THIS VIDEO! I introduced my Mum to Freddie by watching BoRap movie. She loved him so much she had me put two Queen songs in her funeral tribute video! She passed 1/5/20 and right to the end she would ask me to "put some Freddie on, please dear." I hope Freddie greeted her to the hereafter by singing!

He was not just a great performer with a voice that no one can ever surpass (other than Lanza but he was a different generation & an opera star which Freddie could and should have been as well)!! I feel he was a "real down to Earth" guy, there was no "putting on airs" with him. Viva Freddie! He'll be missed & loved forever. He sings in the Heavens now.

How refreshing someone of legendary status such as Freddie could be such a down to earth person, wonderful, caring, and giving person. The GL story where they’re up on the balcony listening to people comment about the house as they come in is so dear. You can hear Freddie saying those things and it brings a smile to your face. I hope there is more to come.
Aww this was so wonderful to see and hear; I have watched all of these people give interviews before but this was so nice to see again. It's everything that Freddie was known for. kindness, generosity, his great sense of style and humour!!

Roger T is the most honest about the real Freddie. He was partly human and slightly flawed like most diamonds.
Yes, of course he had flaws. But these are his friends remembering all the good things about him. I am sure if they were asked about his flaws, they would have a few things to say.

@@merqury5 Well he was impatient, hedonistic, selfish at times and craved love and attention at times like all of us. Constantly needing drama and falling in and out of love and by many accounts had a "temper" and threw things when he was angry. Those are the various things people have said about Freddie that could be interpreted as flaws.
@Bobbi Lee Just responding to the other person who asked why they didn't talk about "flaws". As I said above, I dont think of them as "flaws", he was human like all of us; that's why he appeals to so many people; he brought beauty and joy to everything despite being all too human.

Freddie was a Virgo like me. Virgos always want to give their love completely. Also complex, creative and hardest on ourselves when it comes to whatever we choose to do as our work. Of course if he had chosen to flip hamburgers, he would have had to make the perfect hamburger for everyone. So glad he chose music and being the perfectly talented front man! It's wonderful to hear fiiends of Freddie talking about what Freddie was like off stage.
Better than just having one sided remarks from his associates of the current touring group. They struck me all about money and fame. Dont remember a fabulous compliment coming from them on Freddie. But they could talk about other guy with a line like "Talented, a Gift from God". What a rediculous irony.
I hope he knew how loved he was and still is!
