Officially 20 years today at the time of typing this: November 6th, 2023. RIP, to the Super Heavyweight who weighed at allegedly well over 400 pounds, Michael "Crash Holly" Lockwood. One of my all time favorites.
He had such a grounded view. Man the shit he says about Dave Meltzer, Matt Hardys gimmick shift, his take on IWC fans on Rikishi and his retort about both Rikishi and Gunns selling. This aged like a fine wine.
Just realized that I’ve never seen an interview of this guy despite being one of my early favorites as a kid. Now I’m only 4 years younger than he was when he passed. Another talent taken wayyyyyy too soon.
Rest in peace, Crash. One of my favorite wrestlers too. Enjoyed watching him wrestle and that super-heavyweight gimmick along with his hardcore shenanigans was pretty fun to watch...
I binge watch a few shoot interviews once in a while... When this one popped up my first thought, "How good could a Crash Holly shoot be?" I always liked him in the ring but didn't see him as having been in long enough or gotten around enough to think it would be very good. Glad to be wrong. I know he wasn't one of the top top guys on tv, but it was an interesting shoot. He was a great interview.
Crazy I was suppose to go to Rowland wrestling school but I ended up last minute switching to M1W in Anaheim California and Rowland wouldn’t give me my 500’dollar deposit back lol I ended up cussing his ass out through email 😂😂😂😂
This interview and tests last interview before he died, I notice some similarities man they both looked like they were in a bad place mentally, physically, spiritually. R.I.P to both
Wow the things he says now is still relvenat , but i dont think he would have those same words about vince if crash had lived during ecw reboot in 2006 lol i know for a fact crash be pissed! But damn crash had a good career (R.I.P)
Why bum ass 2k never gave us Crash on 1 of the games just like Basketball they should have a entire attitude era mode like smack down 1 and 2 characters
Easier said than done, you realize that they need his family's permission for him to be in a game right? They can't put someone's likeness in a product without their or their family's consent, it's far more complex and complicated than just them not wanting to put him in a game. 🙄
been 20 years since he passed. crazy
Yeah in November

Dude spoke his mind. Incredible hand. Didn’t matter how many jobs he did the fans still got behind him during his match/segment

Best WWE Hardcore Champion
Houdini
WWF
Grew up watching him from about 8 to 10 years old I'm now actually older than him than when he passed
The stuff he said about how people behave on the internet is still especially relevant to this day
Anyways good interview from the late Crash Holly
Facts💯 am sorry but it's killing the wrestling business and things I love
RIP Brother. Namaste 🙏🕉🌸

This is like the only one he did lol

Malenko v Crash would have been a lot better than Chyna v Ivory or Right To Censor v Tazz and APA at 'Mania 17
Loved crash back in the day 😎 great performer
Crash was funny as a wrestler, I liked him
DEAR GOD GIVE US BACK CRASH HOLLY AND WILL GIVE U OMOS !!!!
This fucking aged like a fine wine and not some california pish.
This is french vintage levels of facts.
One of the most entertaining and best hardcore champion in the Attitude era! RIP Crash Holly
Just 4 months after this interview Crash Holly death
A little over 3 months later, Crash committed suicide after his wife divorced him. It’s just so sad that that happened to him.
This interview was 4 months before he died.
1:06:42 hit the nail on the head
Crazy I was suppose to go to Rowland wrestling school but I ended up last minute switching to M1W in Anaheim California and Rowland wouldn’t give me my 500’dollar deposit back lol I ended up cussing his ass out through email 😂😂😂😂

1:00:49 WrestleMania 2000 Botched Ending
He died of an over dose 4 months after this interview
Who's the interviewer?

Ge killed himself later that year
How?? He's DEAD!!! Talking bad about his kids mother yet HE screwed her!!
drugged up , choked on his own vomit
He didn’t choke on his own vomit by accident. He took bunch of drugs. Suicide
@@paddymcp90so he killed himself not accident?
@@jonathancoleman6482something don't sit right with me about his death.
Have to laugh when he calls matt a cry baby but shortly after this interview he topped himself when his wife left him.
Boring
Crazy. Just 4 months after this interview Crash Holly would be gone. Was it intentional or accidental suicide ?
Death by misadventure. OD-choked on his own vomit.
Intentional. He killed himself because his wife was leaving him.
@@crashharty yes
I've never heard of "accidental suicide." I've heard of accidental overdose. You don't slam a bunch of liquor and pills on accident.
@@crashhartyWow 😢
My best friend in life looks exactly like Crash lol such a shame he died at 32 he seemed scared about the rest of his life smh
