Hello Mr. Jang. The License Plates on the tram are added because in cities (at least around the EU) tram lines are often level with the road and trams are considered just another kind of vehicle and therefore must be registered (this is why they are required to have two-stage headlamps, rear lamps, brake lights and turn signals). However, they also have a permanently painted on registration number because they are also considered a form of train. Hope this helps.

This set but i dont have it. The bus is more of a long distance coach bus rather than a commuter bus tho but i still like it

Probably the coach has doors on both sides, so that players from both LHT and RHT countries can enjoy the set.

There is a good news for those of you who didn't get this set, especially for those who would like to get a tram: this summer, LEGO will release another city square set, which contains a very nice looking tram. The set number is 60097, and it contains a tram, a helicopter, a LEGO store, an auto shop, a tram station, a small coffee shop, a flat-bed truck and a LEGO truck. I'm sure it will be a fun set to play with! :)

Finally, a bike rack in LEGO city! I'm really happy for all those minifigs who ride up to a restaurant nearby and now don't have to worry about their bikes getting stolen outside.
Also, I'm glad there's a map and times. I always seemed to miss the bus in LEGO city before this appeared.
It's the little details here that make me happy, though the larger- like the bus and the light-rail thing that is very similar to the one near my house, look pretty darn good too.
    Thanks for the review, Jang!

the street sweeper design normally only has the brush on the left (facing from the back) and in real life would have a suction tube behind it that sucks up the dirt and rubbish into the storage area

For your costume lego city you should have
    A two mini-figure wide car
    Formula one race car
    Transparent/clear car
    A mobile home
    Rocket car
    Hover car
    Stretch limo
    A spider walker mech
A zip line on a tall building
    A giant tank
    Futuristic car
    High class sports car
These are just some suggestions and interesting challenges I know it is your city but these are just some possibilities

When I built this set some of the doors on the tram and the bus were way too loose and they would open up by themselves really easily. Very annoying. I placed a brick on the inside stud of the loose doors to prevent them from opening all the time.

7:24 All right hand drive countries: *Are we a joke to you*
Jang, I have watched you for a while and you were once my favourite CZcamsr but I had to make the joke since you failed to notice that some countries drive on the other side. Lego sells their sets throughout the world, and it would be wrong to not accommodate for the international market. Also, any coach driver would cringe at you calling it a *bus* instead of a *coach*. It’s a coach since it has luggage compartments for long distance travel.

    • @JANGBRiCKS
      @JANGBRiCKS  Před 5 lety

Eh, I described clearly that I was criticizing the fact that a second full-sized ingress/egress door was placed immediately next to the driver's seat. It's not designed with RHD countries in mind. Passengers could not get in as they'd have to literally climb over the driver. As for coach vs. bus, I just looked it up for sport and every relevant definition of "coach" I seems to use the word "bus." Also LEGO, based in Denmark, EU, officially calls this vehicle a bus (twice) in their English language description.
