    Pastor,the Holy Spirit has taught me,that the way I die to myself is,, When I see a behavior that is not like Jesus.
    I simple,ask Jesus to take that behavior out of me and place Himself in me
    I have been transformed,because Jesus is very alive in all of me.

    interesting to hear a different perspective on this. What I gleaned from this is...Eph 2:8-9 ...8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Cain bought a sacrifice of works...look God, look what I have done for you. Abel bought a sacrifice of what God had provided.
    Salvation by being good enough or salvation through faith because of what Jesus did.

      Amen!
      I can also see that in how Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves they made. But then God came and covered them with skins (the first sacrifice covering their sins motivated by His love). Man's work to cover themselves (self-help/works) versus God's sacrfice to cover us by His merciful and gracious love (God's provision).
      In our fallen state, will we let God provide or will we find pride in providing for our selves; the "self-made" philosophy the world believes is so honorable; "pull yourself up by your own bootstaps"..."make it happen"..."stop waiting on some God to do it for you"... "God helps those who help themselves"...etc.
      Good Word!

      This explanation is convincing. I have always wondered why Abel and his offering was accepted by God but Cain attracted God's disfavour. Was it something about the two boys that prompted God to treat them differently or was it the difference between their offerings ? i think it is a little of both factors. Abel selected an innocent lamb to be killed and offered to God whereas Cain brought the fruit of his labours as his offering to God. Cain was all about what he had done and achieved and God judged him accordingly. Abraham was going to sacrifice his only son Isaac to God, but God stayed his hand and provided a lamb caught in a thicket as the acceptable sacrifice. We cannot justify ourselves by our works before Almighty God, we can only rest in the sacrifice of his Son the sinless Lamb of God.

    ~ To make it short & tweet:
    Herbivores & Carnivores have always been adversaries.
    Cain the first-born was primarily a farmer, thus a herbivore. Abel the second-born was a hunter, thus a carnivore.
    As in all previous evolutionary history they were adversaries.
    ~ Because Eve was the original sinner, she carried the sin of disobedience, so Cain as the first-born carried this original sin.
    After Cain killed Abel, Seth the third-born was born, but he was an omnivore, so his lineage of ancestors is still with us. Jesus was a direct descendant of Seth.
    ~ Omnivores are more adapted for survival than herbivores alone or carnivores alone.

    Question HOW LONG DID CAIN HATE HIS BROTHER A AS LONG AS HE IS ABEL

  • @robertarnold9796

    Genesis 4:7 if thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin (should have been translated "sin offering" look it up) lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
    This verse only makes sense when it is translated properly "sin" maybe lying at the door but you will never rule over it, it rules over you. Man is at the mercy of sin and cannot free himself. BTW, sin has no mercy.
    This is about God's future plan of providing a lamb for the lost man, in this case Cain. The sacrifice has to contain blood, our Saviour is the Redeemer, we give Him our sin He gives us His life. Life is in the blood.
    God is literally saying here, I have brought you a lamb and left him at your door and he wants you to sacrifice him, he will not run away you will be able to slay him because he is willing.
    We can sense the love in the Father's heart by this gesture, just dripping with Grace.

    I hear you speak the Truth of Cain and Abel, which is passed down from the original sin of Adam and Eve.
    It is that original sin that all humans, like Cain, continue to believe in, suffer from, and pass down. It is that sin, originating from the tree of Good & Evil, that is the core of all humans emotions that keeps us separated from Truth.

    • @samshelton436
      @samshelton436 Před 4 lety +2

      The truth is that Cain offered the best of his crops and Abel killed the fattest of his herd and offered blood. God the Father of Yeshua, The Father of truth and righteousness, would never ask that we spill blood for him. This story of Cain and Abel has been twisted and corrupted by the false christ. It disturbs me every time I hear anyone say things like ''Jesus was offered up for the sins of man''. He died because he revealed the truth and not because of some insane blood pact with a pagan-like, imaginary god. Today, if a farmer brought his fattest cow to church and slit its throut on the altar, he would be called a satanist.

    The pastor gets it partially correct . . . yes, Cain's offering was not the best, it was the worst. The pastor skips right over the key verse in the biblical text . . . "fruit of the soil" Fruit doesn't come from soil, fruit comes from, a branch, a tree, a vine, a market. "soiled fruit" equals spoiled fruit from the ground. Also, Cain didn't kill Abel because God was mad at him, that is nonsensical, men don't kill men because God likes them better . . . . there is more to the story czcams.com/video/vo18HatS-Lg/video.html

    • @jasonarokiaraj9817
      @jasonarokiaraj9817 Před 3 lety

      No, God is not OK with Fruit from the soil. God is fine with fruit from a vine, a branch, a tree, a market but God doesn't accept soiled fruit and that is what your missing. No where in the Bible does fruit come from the soil. Fruit from the soil is soiled.
