Wow!!! The organic uses of the peppercorns, the star anise, the sea shell, the wood shavings from your son's studio...so thoughtful! Poppy is so fortunate to be immersed in such FUN!!
Thanks, Charles! I love pulling elements from nature into a project like this one. Making this hoop was a delightful experience for me, and I hope you will enjoy it, too!
I love this one, love the spices as decorations I'll bet it smells so good. Praying you are enjoying your Summer and for some extra time to relax. Thank you for sharing
Thanks, friend! It's been a crazy month in June. Dale had surgery and the recovery has been slow. He's going to be fine...just a process we have to walk through. Then our dear daughter had her first baby, so I've been bouncing between taking care of Dale, taking care of her, and trying to keep up with everything else. The baby is precious...and I am in love with him. I so appreciate your kind words. You are a gem! hugs!
Oh thank you, Anne! I have always loved color and pattern. That makes my heart smile. Hope you are having a good summer with your camper adventures. Hugs!
Yes, June, you do! LOL There's something very relaxing and fulfilling about making flowers. It's good for the soul. Thanks for the kind words, and have fun making beautiful flowers. Hugs!
Thanks, Martie! Most areas have wood turning clubs...maybe you could find one in your locale. My son has so many wood shavings in his shop that he uses it to mulch the area around the fence in his back yard. LOL As a bonus, the shavings smell great, too!
Great ideas My mom and I are making a Fairy Garden themed explosion folio and this hoop could be removable so she could hang it in her wall So excited to give this a try Praying for you and time to relax and enjoy your summer
Thank you so much, Sharon! How kind you are! It's been a wild ride this month. Hubby had surgery and the recovery has been slow and painful. But he's coming along. They said to expect it to take 4-6 weeks before he's back to normal. Then our dear daughter blessed us with a beautiful new grandson. So I've been helping her out in between taking care of Dale and my business, and my household duties and the studio...and all the rest. I very much appreciate your prayers! Thank you!
@@kathyclementkathybydesign prayers for you and the family My husband had a triple bypass at 41 that was 16 years ago And I know that struggle well But I have a nursing background so it was my world to manage his recovery But you have so much I will pray for your strength and for his healing
This is absolutely beautiful. I love all the different elements you used. Your flower spray down the side is gorgeous. This will look so good hanging on a wall. I have a ton of wooden embroidery hoops from my mom when she passed away. I need to attempt to make something like this. Maybe start out with a smaller hoop and if I do good then go to a bigger hoop.
Hi, Lisa! Oooh...you will get addicted to this pretty quickly. They are so much fun to make, and come together more easily than you might think. I want to make more in all kinds of themes. I'm so glad you feel inspired to use your mom's hoops. One of the things I love about papercrafting is how it can keep us connected to memories and people. Have fun, and let me know how it goes. Thanks, friend!
