The GRE and GMAT are two of most used graduate exams for those seeking to study a Masters Degree or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree. The Graduate Record Exam and Graduate Management Admissions Test have been taken for over 50 years and are taken by approximately 600,000 and 300,000 people worldwide annually, respectively. These exams are typically taken between the ages of 18-40, by those who have completed, or are about to complete, their Bachelors Degree.

Philip, I can't find the words to thank you enough for this video.. so grateful for providing this insight and clarity ! 🙏
That is so kind Mansi! I really appreciate it. I am working on absolute values now.
@@TheTestedTutor Woot! Woot!
Im on a marathon watching literally all your videos. This is extremely helpful
Haha, keep going Akash!
Thank you so much. I am writing my exam in January. And I am already feeling like I am good to go with Quant.
I gave my gre on 16/08/2022. Scored 163 on Quant but difficultly level is really high for 160-170 level questions. Data Interpretation questions are wordy and time consuming. Official material is valid if your target is 160 but to score above that you really need to practice some difficult questions
God bless you for saving our time & making life so much easier 🙏🙌
You're my real hero. Thank you for your guidance.
Thank you Layla
Just noticed, there are zero dislikes on most of your videos, I watched thus far, ( this shows viewers satisfaction level) 👌
I'm going to appear in GRE after a month, I've done Manhattan 6 books on math and now watching your videos, Verbal section yet to go ( I have only memorized 250 words from Magoosh app). Since I have a month, please give suggestions ( I am targeting 120 on GRE)
Haha, thank you so much 😀
Watch all videos, finish Manhattan 5lb book, complete 12 practice tests minimum...
@@TheTestedTutor thanks, I'll do so, I'm just struggling in the memorization of Vocabs . I'm going to watch all your videos first and then see my improvements.
I really hope these videos have many many more views.... thankyou Philip for these videos
OMG , the silly mistakes that you mentioned were exactly what I was doing, this video is an eye opener for me. thank you for doing this.
Great..it would be very helpful if u make an updated video on the same topic 🙏
I am SO glad to have found your channel! Kudos to you for putting in so much time and effort into making these videos for all GRE aspirants! Can't thank you enough! :)
Thanks so much Shruti! I am SO glad you found it too. :)
Best advice ever!!!!! Less haste more speed
Most on point and clear explanation for gre Quants ,Thanks man you are doing a great Job for us
Thanks man. Big Quant video coming
I would like to thank you with all of my heart. With your many videos about the subjects found on the GRE/GMAT, I was able to score a total of 312 on the GRE (excluding my essay scores, which I am still waiting on). I've always had trouble with more complicated math, but I still managed to scrape by with a 152, and I attribute that to your superb tutelage. Again, thank you!
Great job tbf! Super proud!
You deserve 1 billion subs🔥
Philip you are amazing. You are the reason I am enjoying studying for the GRE. You have made it so much easier for me. Thank you.
Wow, thanks Nidhi. A lovely comment. Good luck in your learning journey.
I have gained so much confidence by watching your videos and practicing on concepts you provided, very grateful to you.
Hi Philip, you really are doing a commendable job. Literally binge-watching your videos!!
Thanks for all the great information, tips, and techniques throughout your channel. It's all extremely helpful!
Edit: I just noticed you're also at pi-thousand subscribers which I find fitting for all your great math material!
Haha, great spot! Here's to pi-ten-thousand soon!
thanks so much i stumbled on your vids and can't stop watching them! really a big help for my studying!!!
Keep watching!
This helps with putting things in perspective! Thank you for this reminder lol. I will be taking GRE next week and nice to have this nudge of what I should be focused on.
You got this!
Thank you Philip for this helpful vedio ❤️
Can you please make a vedio on how to be skillful and quick with the GRE calculator?
This is so helpful and it encouraged me to narrow my study and to take more practice test. Also, other thoughts, failing and not doing as well as I want on practice tests, is just me learning to do better! Thank you! :)
Wonderful!
Thanks a lot Philip. Really helping to prioritise my GRE study structure here! :)
Thank you! Hope you can make a GMAT version of this :)
Hi Phillip, hope you are doing great. Could you please make a vocab synonyms list? SE is something I find it really hard to get right mostly because its confusing at times.
Less Haste , More Speed. That's Profound. Shun Devil's Haste, Embrace God speed. Thanks TTT
Thank you for such an informative video, put me into perspective.
So glad I found your channel!! Already recommended to many of my friends who are preparing for GRE and other aptitude tests!
Thank you for all your videos. They are useful, especially when the test is nearing. You are a wonderful teacher.
Why'd you have such low subs, you should have more subs than pew die pie😭😭😭 you're a life saver man😂
thank you so much you killed my stress on gre
Hope it went well!
9:12 - 9:18 do you have a video for increasing GRE calculator skill? Incidentally, thanks for your videos
Should do one!
Eye opener, thank you!!
Thank you for this!
Such an effective video!
please make a similar video for GMAT Quant
This is so helpful, thank you!
Thanks for all the support Monika! Big video coming out tomorrow morning.
this was so incredibly helpful! cant thank you enough! i do have a question though, you said that you ask your students to at least click answer before moving on instead of omitting the question, why is that?
This is the needed.. Thank you
Thanks so much Varsha
I wonder if this breakdown is still (for the most part) applicable to the GRE today.
Hey Philip, any chance you have videos on Sequences, Fractions and Data Interpretation in the pipeline?
Also, thanks a ton for your videos. They've given me innumerable 'aha' moments! I'm going to try to spread the word as much as I can :)
Thanks so much shobbada! I have one on Data but not the others ... yet ...!
Hey Philip i am finding your vids very helpful. Could you please clarify that these videos are still valid as it's been two years since the release of this video and gre could have changed
Yep still is
Many thanks sir.
Most welcome David
Thanks
Always helping
thanks for the video sir
Thanks MD!
Great job
Hello Philip, I have been pushing back my GRE for over three month because the art thematic section. I am not good with math and trying to understand all this putting more pressure on me and it shuts down my mind. This video reduce my stress level down just a little. My question is do you have can you bring out video that target the basics and tricks so students like me can benefit. If you have printable formulas we could use for this sections you mentioned would be great.
Just to mention I went on the website that you linked on your other videos, the course they provide is only for GMAT. If that is your website or company you work for do they have course for GRE students?
Thank you so much for putting out this video they are amazing.
Hey Haimanot, the course is designed for GMAT but about 90% relates to the GRE too. Together with my channel it covers pretty much everything. :)
Thank you for responding to my post. You are really helpful
@@haimanothabte1345 Thanks Haimanot
Could you make a similar video on the GMAT quant???
Hi Philip! Quick question, how many hours of practice a day would you recommend to boost a score from 305(Q:158 V: 147) to 320+(Q:166+ V:155+) in 5 weeks and a half?. The material I am using is: Quant-> ETS Official books, Manhattan 5lb and everyday quant magoosh practice tests. Verbal -> ETS Official Books, Manhattan 5lb (I have finished the 1k vocab words also). Any suggestions? I feel stuck in quant, until now i could never score more than 160 in any practice test. S.O.S. :(
It is possible. You have to do many practice tests, analyse every mistake carefully. Watch every video of mine including the older ones where I talk about how to learn from mistakes. Maybe 16 hours a week, 10 on weekend, 2 hours on 3 weekdays, 2 day break.
@@TheTestedTutor Ohhhh now it is clear! so mostly I have to generate more data (in other words finding in which topics I make more mistakes) and then instead of practicing what I want, practice what I actually need based on my mistakes. I have been studying everyday, roughly 9 hours a day yikes 😂
@@joanperezlozano7405 9 hours is too much! Brain needs a break. Yes, data is key, focussing on understanding mistakes...
@@TheTestedTutor Right Philip! hehe, thank you so much for your help! and keep up that amazing good content you provide to all of us!
gmat is official gmat guidebis good to start
Yes definitely
The Tested Tutor Sentence correction and critical reasoning is powerscore book is good to buy. your suggestion is much appreciated
GRE Genius :)
Thanks Arif!
Targeting at 162 quant; does this ratio for both sections relative to a good score still apply in the shorter gre context?
You mention that you will only get to the hard section if you achieve 14/20 on the first section. But doesn’t each section have 25 questions? That’s what I’m coming across on my practice tests.
You might be using the book version of the test, it's definitely 20
@@TheTestedTutor Yep, that's it. Thank you! Your videos are SO helpful, btw
Im not targeting a score above 160 in Quant. I am nearly done with my course and I was planning on leaving Probability, Combinatronics and Three Dimensional Geometry. Is that advisable?
❤️
Where do you get the practice tests?!
I solved 50+ problems in each category, I also worked on vocab words for over 2 months but still got a 295 in GRE..
Where did I go wrong and what should I do?
I'm the 500th like, feels satisfying!
hii, do 3rd mensuration important for gre
What are word problems????
👍👍
P & C sucks
