I recently got a log number of 161. Low. But there are only 3 apartments that fall under my income bracket. The apartment is located in Harlem. And my next lowest log number is 4K. I’ve been applying since 2022. Patience is supposed to be a virtue.😆
after applying last year i got a log number of 82 and being contacted for documents and even seeing the apartment I got initially rejected bc they think my assets in my bank accounts are over the limit. but it was a mistake i dont really have access to what they think i do. I put in my appeal but i dont know if theyll accept it or not and im super nervous. when i saw the apartment last week they said i might be able to move in and sign the lease by the 15th of august! but who knows if theyll reject me now, which is awful especially after being so close. ive applied to over 750 buildings over the last 6 years on housing connect and stuff and my anxiety is through the roof right now haha. Ill call them tomorrow to see what the situation is but honestly at the moment im not feeling too hopeful.
I know people who were rejected on income and given a deadline forwarded their income. She said she calculated it wrong fixed it and sent it in. I don’t know if she ever contacted again.
I’ve been selected for one of the apartments in the Bronx. Still under review and there asking about deposits etc. I’m wondering if picking up side work off and on would effect my income status
@@HeyitsKimberlee do you know if they can relocate to another property when your household change and household income decreased? or this would be an automatic rejection?

Hi! It will absolutely affect your income. They track everything, I’m in the process and it’s insane
I’ve heard they are pretty meticulous with wanting to know every coin you make and how. I hope it works out!
