A - YES!!! Can always sleep later, but don't get a chance to see the northern lights too often...
The people who complained about the Northern Lights announcement would be the same ones to complain if there was no announcement, and they missed seeing the display.
Probably.
Amen!
I so agree with that. They would complain if they didn't get it.
I said something similar. I see people complaining all the time that the ship didn't wake them up.
@@coloradomtnbiker99yeah, chronic complainers. Darn if they do and darn if they don't.
I would be thankful for them waking me up to see the Northern lights.
Hi Julie! The Northern Lights would be amazing to see! Thanks for commenting!
Right??? I would be mad if I didn't wake up lol.
I would pay them to wake me up!
I would be glad they woke me up!!!
A
I just told a blind friend about this and his answer was priceless: He said KCUF YEH!! he gives (A) 5stars and to wake his AAAAA$$ up cause he wants to hear people around him commenting and describing how beautiful it is . I died with😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yes wake me up for the Northern Lights! Part of the reason that I’m here!
A. The possibility of seeing the northern lights is a big part of the magic of traveling to Alaska.
A- Yes, wake me up so I can film the Northern lights.
A... definitely. To be able to see the northern lights in such clarity would be epic.
A - absolutely wake me up to see the Northern lights!!
A yes… can always fall back asleep, but seeing the northern lights up close in personal once in a lifetime opportunity for those that don’t get to see it all the time
Seeing AND hearing! The colors dance and sway in the sky, and in doing so they sound like whips cracking! I saw them once when I lived in Northern Ontario and it was SPELLBINDING!!!
Some people just like to complain. You can wake me up anytime to see the Northern Lights.
A-yes! Wake me up! Seeing the Northern Lights is on my bucket list. Wake me up!
A most definitely! Some people just want to complain no matter what. Thanks for your informative videos!
I was awakened in the middle of the night to see the northern lights, while backpacking in the Canadian Rockies, and very glad to have been able to see them. I was thrilled.
Yes--wake me up to see the Northern Lights!!! Who would want to miss such an awesome sight????
Riiiight! Especially being in the middle of the ocean!
A- I would absolutely want to get up to witness that splendor!
A once in a lifetime to seeing the Northern Lights
Carnival did the best to keep their passengers informed of a beautiful and rare sight which is exactly why most all of them were on that cruise to begin with. Ridiculous that anyone would complain, especially when the announcement was only the corridor areas.
A- that is part of the reason to go on an Alaskan cruise. Very thoughtful of the captain.
Definitely YES, I can never hear the hallway announcements anyway.
Yes, we would definitely want to be awakened to see a spectacular event like the northern lights. We say good on Carnival!
A, it was appropriate to announce in the corridors. If they hadn’t made an announcement there likely would have been equal number of guests who would be upset that they missed the opportunity to see the lights.
I agree. And a few disgruntled cruisers are going to ruin it for everyone.
A. Please wake me for the Northern lights.
Hi Suzette! They would definitely be super to see!
Yes please wake me up !!! That’s part of the excitement of an Alaskan cruise is HOPING you can see them !!!
Great job as always! Very informative
We were on the Princess Sapphire coming into Vancouver Saturday night. The captain came on and said we would be docking late the next day but didn’t mention the Aurora Borealis. I sure wish he would have. We slept through it. I’ll probably never have that chance again in this life.
I would love to be woken up ! And not miss this once in a lifetime experience ❤
Thanks, enjoy your show!!
A!!! Hell yes. You're on a cruise to see things. The lights would be so incredible!!
A for sure, I would absolutely want to know and not miss that bucket list sightings
A. The Alaska Marine Ferry did it in Feb 1994 when we left Alaska. We really appreciated it. The lights were so green and everywhere.
Yes, for the Northern Lughts
Yes I would appreciate being woke up to see a bucket list item like this!
A absolutely, The Northern Lights are amazing
A - Yes, definitely wake me up! These are the reasons why I cruise!
Yes! That’s a huge part of seeing Alaska.
A. Yes, Just got off an Alaskan cruise 2 weeks ago and it was truly one of the best things I have ever saw.
OMG - I would have loved to have been woke up to see that incredible sky!
A - Yes. With an announcement just in the corridor I can either go look or roll over and go back to sleep.
Yes yes yes definitely. Been on 2 Alaskan cruises in Sept and never saw the lights. On my bucket list and I am getting older.
Definitely yes ,people go a long way to see them. Some people complain about everything possibly to get compensation!
Absolutely A. Can't believe people having the audacity to complain about this.
Absolutely YES! I can’t believe that anyone would be angry about that. I would be very sad if they were visible and no one told me.
A, yes!!!!
I had a 2 day cruise stop in Iceland in 2023, and did not the northern lights due to weather. I would have brushed my teeth, thrown a sweatshirt over my jammies and run to a top deck to see that amazing experience!
I saw the Northern Lights on a Holland America cruise to Norway last Sept. It was an amazing experience.
A-Yes. We were so lucky to be notified on our greenland trip last year for the northern lights.
A - it's a once in a lifetime (for some of us) experience! They have permission to come knock on my door and wake me up for that!
A..from the pics I saw from family members back home... the lights were amazing. Wish I could have seen them first hand
Thank you Jason for your no nonsense cruise news…😮
Yes, wake my butt up. I'm in NC, and we were so excited to see a tiny bit this last weekend. We are going to Alaska this summer and I vote YES!
That is ridiculous, some people just need to complain. I would be grateful that I had the opportunity to see the Northern lights.
A - no question about it.
A, YES!!!! Please wake me up for the Northern Lights, that's a major bucket list item for me and DH.
Yes-I’m hoping to see them on our Alaska cruise in October!
A. YES.... I would definitely have been thrilled to be woken up to experience the Northern Lights!
YES! Bucket list sight to see!!
Wake me up for Nortgern Lights!
A, I'd definitely want to check out the lights!
A yes, this would be a highlight of my vacation
Yes!! Please wake me for that!! It’s amazing!
A. Yes, I would want to be notified! This past weekend, we had a snippet of northern lights here in Oregon. They were amazing!
Yes, I would want to see the Northern Lights...can always go back to sleep or sleep in in the morning.
A. Definitely wake me up! I am on an Alaskan cruise now and would love to see the Northern Lights.
A
That’s extraordinary that there was an opportunity to see the Northern Lights!
They were visible in Ohio Friday night.
There was an amazing display in Salt Lake City and surrounding area...I didn't know about them and slept right through them!🥴
A - yes, make the announcement!
If I was on the cruise ship that made the announcement of the Northern Lights being visible, I would have been thankful and thrilled to get a chance to view!!! What’s wrong with those passengers complaining, smh; being able to view the Northern Lights is a once in a lifetime opportunity! I’ve read a lot about it but to see in the Alaska skies, OMG!!! Honestly, I would be mad if they didn’t make the announcement.
Yes I believe that is something I would love
A, definitely would love to see them!
A. Yes! I would be thrilled to have had the opportunity to see the Northern Lights
Seeing the Northern lights while on a cruise ship is at the top of my bucket list. I would be absolutely gutted if it was happening and I wasn’t informed.
Absolutely YES
A-Yes. The alert was not in the cabins. It's all part of the experience and if you can see this while on your cruise it is a beautiful experience.
Yes wake me up to see the Northern Lights, just have coffee ready up on deck.
Absolutely wake me up, was cloudy here in MD missed it!
Same here near Dallas.
Yes, absolutely
Hell Yes -A that's what I'm there for is to see new things.
A - absolutely, that is one of the best reasons to travel up north.
A. Yes, absolutely! It would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to see The Northern Lights.
Yes, please wake me up. Last week I was in Alaska on RC and they made an announcement that was heard in the rooms about the Northern Lights. It was around 10:30-10:45pm though and not the middle of the night.
A to the hell yes, thank you Captain.
A - YES!!!! After seeing the Aurora for the first time this week, and knowing how utterly amazing it it to witness, but even before that, I would be SO ANGRY if I had slept through them when the cruise crew knew they were visible.
A. Wake me up please. I've sailed to Alaska twice and have yet to see the Northern lights.😊
Thank you, Jason, for your program. I appreciate the short, to-the-point conveyance of the pertinent news in the cruise industry. When you posed the question about the shepherd-beekeeper excursions, I would have voted for (C) Both. Why have to choose? :)
A! I wish someone had told me about being able to see them in Georgia last week. I totally missed it.
Ohhhh most definitely A, I’d love to see the Northern Lights!! ♥️
Ohhhhh Flotels I love it!! I love seeing old and dilapidated buildings, houses, hotels restored. For me, it just gives them new life! Thank y’all for keeping us updated on the cruise world! Be safe and God’s Blessings 🙏🏻♥️😊
A for absolutely 💯, I wouldn’t want to miss that!!
A. YES! I would LOVE that see the Northern Lights!!
A - Yes! I've seen the Northern Lights, but I would love to see them again.
A. Would be amazing!
Hi Judith! I think so too!
A. Yes absolutely!
A yes would have been right up on deck to see them😊
AA. Yes ! Lots book cruises just
Did that reason !
A, I would like to be woke up for that reason. But most the time with the announcement made in the hallways, you can't understand what they are saying.
😅😅😅
Yes
A : It could be a once in a lifetime chance I wouldn't want to miss
Yes, of course
A Yes! That’s why I’m on the cruise!
A!! You go to Alaska in hopes of seeing the lights. Plus you get a lot of sleep on the ship..
A. Northern lights would totally be worth getting up to see.
I would love the chance to see the lights and wouldn't care what time it was. I did an Alaskan cruise last May and had my name on a list to be notified if they were in sight, It would have been one of the best parts of the cruise
