Here we are, ever so closer to the finale. The Continent inching to it’s demise… but at least we have these tunes while we wait for that to happen…
Ohhhh boy. That blabbit. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Schmooch when they came out (explaining why I didn’t update it last time) buuut at least Schmooch is (mostly) on key and is very spot on to the beat.
Blabbit however not only was off key in quite a few parts, but also ever so slightly off key… and that high pitched sound… Ohhhhh jeez. UHHHH. YEAH. NOT GREAT. It’s almost hard to listen to. It sticks out so unbelievably obnoxiously I can’t make it sound appropriate at all whatsoever…
At least we got one ginormous positive out of this. Bowhead being at the very end of the song was admittedly what a lot of people were looking forward to and they delivered particularly well. I wasn’t expecting two seperate tracks honestly. It’s amazing to see that they’re being consistent with keeping these final quints actually good! I’m happy with what I did for the very ending there, and I think a lot of people are gonna’ like it too because with an addition like that whilst keeping it super simple… goddamn it almost is enough to make a grown man cry. It’s genuinely such a gorgeous addition.
COME ON GNARLS, IT’S ALL YOU BABY. BRING IT ALL HOME,
Side notes:
-Ethereal Workshop updates are indeed still coming! Just… Literally I skipped an update because with real life happening and as a direct result I was just like “Ehhhh I’ll get to it next time.”
-I am now completely unable to be contacted via… probably anything other than CZcams comments to be completely honest with you. I only ever find myself working on my own little projects or preparing for other duties nowadays and they need all the time they can get outta’ me and by the end of the day you’re like… Ehhh I’ll get to em’ later but later just never ever comes…

I don’t like how they massacred my boi… on Shanty he was a good Seasonal. Why did they have to crap on him? At least his design’s good?
Okay I found my new favorite Continent Monster. I accurately predicted that Bowhead would play in the ending verse with Mimic, and BOY OH BOY… “he’s the best Monster of all time” doesn’t even come close to describing my feelings with what they did with him. I guess Amber WAS the only island he was mid in… He’s amazing to the point where he never idles on Psychic, he’s amazing at enhancing the end on the Continent, and he’s amazing at enhancing the everything on Space Island. By the way - first time in five years Space was updated. I LOVE what you did with Bowhead in the ending verse, the point where you extended the end to kind of give him his own solo verse with Sneyser and Tuskski… I can’t stop replaying the end verse now. It’s THAT good.
Kinda sad how we’re down to the last two Monsters now (maybe three if they remembered their concept art) in Dawn of Fire (Hoola, Gnarls, and maybe Gobbleygourd)… truly the end of an era. Dawn of Fire has introduced so much to the series, it’s so amazing. It expanded Kayna’s role and added lots of new Monsters with its Fire element, including my baby girl Sooza. It gave us so many banger songs, including the best song in series history - The Continent. If it wasn’t for Dawn of Fire and Sooza as motivators, I wouldn’t have made friends and gotten to where I am today, writing this comment that you probably will never see. I hope this game goes out with a huge bang… maybe one last island for the road.
Even then, is the mid part about Amber Bowhead the fact that he sounds bad or that he plays too little?
@@dinoboiis8147 it’s that he only plays in the first half of the first verse and then never again. That’s why he’s so mid - he had so much potential on Amber Island…
The monster handlers never said that the mythicals didn't exist during the events of dof.
I LOVE the verse extension you did at the end with Bowhead and Tuskski! I think it would be really cool if you had all of the quints in the final part for the last update considering they were DOF's whole thing.

This may mark the first time I absolutely have fallen in-complete love with an island for absolutely everything it has EXCEPT for the song itself. Extraordinary lore, appearance, sheer togetherness of magicals we thought were doomed to a singular island, literally everything BUT the song (which is the whole point) wows me but I don’t really mind! It’s glorious!
That being said… Don’t expect a remix coming from me about the island any time… uh… ever.

how did they make a bad seasonal even worse, like its actually humorous to me how they could’ve messed up this bad with blabbit. don’t get me wrong, bowhead is amazing but they somehow made the worst sounding monster in the game be one of the most annoying to get. how did they “mimicify” blabbit?
