As someone who was actually deep into astrology, I have to say this is probably the sanest/most prudent Christian take on the subject I've come across so far. Bravo, Seraphim.
50:00 This is Saint John of Damascus' "heretical formula" on full display at the human level, which is to confuse Nature (what someone is) and Person (who some is). Astrological insight can lead one without prudence to throw up his hands in dismay and relinquish his responsibility to ideas of "Fate" or "cosmic process" regarding his natural circumstances. It's similar to racism in that races have differing tendancies, sure, but these go into informing his individuated identity as a human being rather than exhaustively defining it apart from agency. I can just say that God providentially orchestrated the circumstances and timing of my existence to make me a Greek born under the Libra/Scorpio cusp. Alright sweet, so I'm predisposed in certain ways. Now how I personally chose to operate through it is up to me as in my created human hypostasis, I have a gnomic or deliberative faculty of agency imbued in me reflecting my Creator. Take for example a roleplaying video game, 2 entirely different players can create the exact same type of character (often referred to as a character build) sporting identical attributes and starting equipment, but the foregoing sequence of events (or playthrough) for each player is going to be entirely unique on the basis of the decisions each player personally makes throughout their journeys.
Great stuff. There's a strong correlation with the astrological symbolism leading up to the incarnation from the old to the new testament. There's a youtube channel called "Age of the Storm" that is skeptic channel but (funnily) unknowingly shows the strong parallel between the prophecies of the old testament to the incarnation of Christ with astrological events and symbols.
First of all, your ideas about E and E on some other planet are interesting. Never have I heard such a thing and I can dig it. Second though, I think the incarnation of the Word of God is the true beginning of time -- so, even though E and E seem to us to have been before Christ, they aren't really. In this conception, history before Christ and history after Christ are both ripples in the pond.
Many of the high-level, "accurate" astrologers I was familiar with in my new age/occult days also practiced astrological magic and worked with spirits, so make of that what you will.
@@patrickrooney971 It's a ridiculously large project, basically one big story made up of many, many smaller stories, though some of the stories are more explorations of the world than moving the overarching narrative forward. It also kind of has an overview of the entire history of the world from Creation to Judgment (and a little bit beyond), but this fictionalized version of the world has plenty of fantastical and science fiction elements. There is also a great focus on in-universe fiction and how it interacts with the "real world," such as art imitating life and vice versa, fiction sometimes having a strange predictive quality, people being inspired to act in the real world by their favorite fiction, fiction often containing deeper truths even unintentionally, and so on. I haven't published any of this work yet, and it's so huge it may end up as yet another unfinished project of a writer who died before he could complete it. I hope not. I decided to incorporate this concept of Enoch living on one of the planets into a series about a family who is exploring the planets of the solar system and meeting their inhabitants. Enoch is, of course, an unexpected discovery.
Seraphim, that Christ Pantocrator surrounded by the Zodiac in the thumbnail is so beautiful! 😍

The land/sea, Israel/nations, day 3, and sacramental plant, Leviticus connections blew my mind

That's because they play footsie with demons and the demons tell them their guesses of the future. Does God not regularly surprise us all?
I stole your idea of Enoch being on another planet for my fictional universe.
What universe is that? Seriously that sounds kinda intresting
