I was attracted by the beautiful sound of your mandolin and i was looking for a mandolin like yours, but hesitated to ask you a question even it's faster than find by myself…
If you don't mind, could you tell me the name of your mandolin's type and the maker that you used in this video?
Thank you so much. I used Suzuki M100 (a Neapoliten mandolin) for solo part. For 2nd and 3rd parts, I used a flat mandolin made by the luthier Erkan Sizarlar in Izmir/Turkey. The mandola is Gewa.

@@BulentYazici Thank you very much - ideal. Are they available in a book format or just individual sheets? The first mandolin you are holding with the curved top - is unusual - it looks like the body of a Suzuki violin company bowlback but I have never seen a model like this. What make is it? Reminds me of a Portuguese guitar top (Lisbon not Coimbra) . I have a Suzuki from 1970 .- similar wood tones. Your one is a beautiful piece of woodwork.
@@georgefenning4844 Unfortunateley just individual scores. Actually, I would like to share the scores for free as well but I can't; because the copyright belongs to the original owner of the composition. The first mandolin is bowlback Suzuki M100 from 1980. Other mandolin is a flat top/back mandolin made by a luthier in Izmir/Turkey. It looks like a Portuguese mandolin. And the mandola is Gewa.
@@BulentYazici I saw a Suzuki M100 advertised on Thomann (german supplier) but it is discontinued. I checked mine - it has no model number just no 226 1970 Suzuki Violin Company. Has the same wood tones are your one. I really like it . Was a gift - my first mandolin. I was looking at properties in Antalya /Alanya area with a view to moving there and have been to Marmaris a few times . I cam eclose yo buying a house there. Never got as far as Izmir - most holidays stop at Bodrum. Im not familiar with Gewa make but I thought your other instruments looked similar to some East European ones I have seen here. I only have one mandolin (Suzuki M210) is it possible to play all the tracks of this video, all 3 mandolins and 1 mandola withy Suzuki Mandolin? :-)
@@cCcs6 All tracks were arranged for 3 mandolins and a mandola. You can play only mandolin parts by a mandolin ofcourse :) But you can use any bass instrument for mandola part. It may even be better if cello or bass guitar is used.

In fact, I would love to share my arrangement with everyone, but I did not get permission from anyone (the persons who has the copyrigth of the songs) about this arrangement. I don't know what to do about copyright issues. Therefore, I am afraid to share the scores in order not to be exposed to some legal responsibilities. I'm still investigating this subject.
