Hey it's me that asked for the Mini 3 thank you I actually really wanted to know that and I cannot find a video on it
In your update for 2 0 2 4 make sure you put don't fly close to power lines because I did that and I fell about 25 ft2 my drone was fine but still make sure you put that on there and if you had it on there sorry I did not watch the whole thing cuz I watched it before
As a photographer, I would like to thank you for explaining these concepts (in a simple way) to people that are not familiar with them! I would have suggested explaining the use of the histogram, since you already had it show on screen, and how it could be useful for the proper exposure level. But that might be getting a bit deep for new folks.

Do you know if the DJI mini pro 4 drones use full sensor to film 1080HD or uses just 1/4 of the sensor? (as you would expect from 1080HD to 4K resolution)

Nice presentation. It's a fine line doing an explanation of this type while not getting too technical. The drone exposure values, like the fixed aperture in the mini series...is pretty basic.
A pressing question that I have for you today has to do with what looks like jutter or jitter when filming in video mode and especially when panning. There are hundreds of CZcams videos discussing shutter speeds vs. jutter/jitter and I have done some fairly extensive work in figuring out what these balances may be while also trying to preserve the 180° rule for what everybody likes to speak of as "cinematic" footage. Along with the 180° rule there are video editing parameters that have to match up to the FPS value when acquiring the video footage. I have worked with it all and still experience some jutter/jitter by the time the video is uploaded to CZcams. My question has to do with the setting in Advanced Camera that by default is turned ON to "Cache When Recording". From what I have gathered the caching scheme provides for a low resolution version of the high resolution video to be acquired simultaneously. I would like to hear your thoughts on this caching feature, whether you leave it to the default setting of ON as well as what your thoughts may be on whether this caching process causes some buffering issues that appear as jutter/jitter on the high resolution video regardless of any other settings.

Hi. I’ve been following you for some time now. This video was so so good. Well done and thank you for taking the time to explain. You explain things really well and your videos are really well made. One can see and appreciate the amount of work gone into the video. I noticed you left out frame rate and how that would impact shutter speeds etc. would be great if we can have similar video also for videos and best methods to set frame rates.

I have the Mini 4 pro and my set in a sunny day is keeping the ISO at Auto Mode and the Shutter Speed at 1/1000 up to 1/2000 - 4k with no filters,
and it’s giving me a great result.
What do you think about that?

one thing I'm still missing: what is the M.M - slider for, yes brighter and darker but what influence has it on the final footage ?
I was going to post this as a general feedback suggestion but noticed your question: If you're in manual mode, using ISO, shutter speed, and aperture to control the exposure, then the M.M slider has no function because you're already in full control of the variables (ISO, SS, Aperture) that control exposure. Put any one of them or all of them in AUTO and you'll see that the M.M slider now allows you to move it for either more exposure or less exposure. And it will do this by changing one of the variables (ISO, SS, Aperture)

Hi! I have 2 questions:
1. What with 180 shutter rule?
2. If I want to record beautiful city buildings at the night with m4p sharp with bright light(night city climat) so than I need to change to night video mode + settings:
-ISO 100 to have great quality of reflections on buildings
-4K 50FPS(Europe standard)
-what shutter speed?
-EV to calibrate to see something :)
In that case there is no need to have any nd filters.
Any advise for great night video? Maybe that’s good subject for next video? :)

So we dont touch the FPS when changing shutterspeed for example shutter 1/50 and currently running 4k60FPS
I'm still experimenting but sadly I have only limited time to play my mini 4 :(
Good question! This guide is aimed more for photography, when taking videos FPS does factor in to shutter speed. Basically when capturing video you never want to decrease the shutter speed below 2x your FPS. So if recording in 60fps, keep the shutter speed at 1/120 or higher. Hope that helps!
