Beautiful. I did this in July few years ago with my friend and it was boggy 😅. Looks like you had a brilliant day 👍

Hi James, I recently stumbled on your videos and have been devouring them ( all in the wrong order!). I shall never be able to do these myself now, but I hope to "complete" them all through your videos. You have a real gift for film making and photography and it's interesting to see how your films have evolved since the early ones. Thank you.

These youtubes are excellent. I plan to go hiking with my sister in April, watching this youtube, as with others, provides fantastic information. Keep up the good work, your work is brilliant.

Lovely to see these views. This was one of my earlier Munros when I was pretty unfit, and I did it with a group in atrocious weather. I found it a real slog and almost didn't make it to the summit! A choc bar got me there, but it was so windy it was like being in a washing machine! I always think of it as a really tough hill due to that experience - will have to climb it again some day, in good conditions.

Incredible how little snow there is for January. 3 hours is a breeze! I’ve driven from Torquay to An Teallach overnight once and drove back after a bit of broken uncomfortable sleep in the car. 24 hours’ driving over 2 days is a borderline mental illness but always worth it when the weather behaves. Looking forward to seeing where you decide to compleat!

Thanks James. That looks like it would be one for me next time I'm over - Hopefully in April if all goes to plan. Last year I ticked my Munro #1 - Stob Dubh. Only two days later I bit off more than I could chew bye trying to tackle Ben Lawers. On the way up Beinn Ghlas the weather turned really bad with strong wind and rain. Me and Skye - the Golden Retriever - got drenched to the bones rather quickly. Mainly because I was stupid-stubborn and didn't put on my waterproof trousers. I managed to pull myself up Beinn Ghlas and tick that one off, but there were no views. Continuing down the bealach I decided to bail out and follow the bypass path back. Next time I'm thinking of combining Ben Lawers and An Stuc. But I might go for some of the easier ones first. The one you describe in this video and maybe Meall Buidhe from Loch an Dàimh dam. Anyway sorry for blethering on. Take care and thanks again. ATB Karl

    Hello James. Nice video 👍.
My only complaint (as an old guy) is the use of the word "easiest". Much prefer "easier" 😅!

3 hour drive? Piece of pish!! Think of us poor people who drove up from Englandshire to knock off a few before the drive home. But I agree, a lovely wee Munro for the beginner or someone just bagging the odd solitary hill. Great video as usual James and Goof luck with the remaining 51.

What are you using to hang your DSLR of your rucksack strap? Looks super convenient and better than it swinging round.

Amazing James. Got to say thanks though. Even though its a 3 hour drive for you its a 1 hour and 20 min drive for me. Gives me a option for something so close for me thanks. Am still waiting for a chance to bag my first munro of the year. Every time am off work its just horrible. Hopefully that will change soon.
    Take care

    Another good video James.
Remember doing this one and because I kind of knew it would be an easy one I then drove round to do the Meall nan Tarmachan ridge walk. It was a lovely mid November day back in 2021.
I'm on 228 hoping to complete them towards end of the year.
    Depending on work commitment. 😂

Great video as always! Just curious how you’ve said it’s the easiest Munro yet internet is saying it takes 4-6 hours which I don’t really believe?

It can easily be done in 3-4, maybe not the easiest of all but definitely a straightforward day when the condition's are good!
