Hi, I have a HP ProBook 4430s Laptop and the current configuration is as follows👇 2x2GB 1333Mhz PC3 RAM= 4GB, Intel Core i5 2520M Processor, 500GB HDD with Windos 10 Pro 64bit. I want to upgrade my RAM with 2x8GB 1600Mhz PC3 and also want to replace the hdd with the 500GB SSD but don't want to change the processor so is it possible to change all these without changing the the CPU. Please healp me in this regard🙏
Hi, i did the same thing as you with mine 4530s and kingston 120gb with windows already installed but he dont recognize the ssd as a boot drive, even choicing in BIOS. I saw in a forum that ssd is incompatible with this model. You did some update in BIOS to it work properly?
when i bought ssd with preinstalled windows the seller ask for bios type which is legacy for this laptop...maybe you bought the other type which is for laptop originally for windows 8 and above....i forgot the other type name

It's likely bios settings. Try cloning your hard drive to the SSD.
I use de SSD in another computer and don't want to lose the archives you know
