Original Oyster House Review (Gulf Shores, Alabama)

The Original Oyster House restaurant is a staple in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Known for fresh seafood, a killer salad bar, and great service, this restaurant has been going strong since 1983. Due to its popularity, wait times are often long. Luckily, there are lots of shops on the boardwalk that you can browse in while you wait for your table. We always make sure to eat here at least once when we come to Gulf Shores.

Thanks for the review. We went there our first time in Gulf Shores over 10 years ago at the time it was just OK. With so many options in that area we tried other places when we went back. If you are still in Gulf Shores and go out for breakfast there was a pretty good small place called Kitty's Kafe north of Oyster House in a shopping area have to search for it. Been a few years it was good but would get crowded in the morning also had some good cheap lunches.

I have not seen Kitty Cafe. Probably out of business. I go through there all the time and have never seen it. But thanks for the suggestions. By the way, I love a good salad bar. That goes a long way with me at Oyster House.

@@goodallscountrykitchen They do a big breakfast business it is good home cooking. Lunch is good too a variety of items at reasonable prices check their menu online. They get a lot of locals and visitors watching your videos you will probably like it family owned
