That lighting is amazing. I’ve never seen anything like that and I’ve been to a ton of festivals on the East coast.
I learned about Moon Duo last November just two days before they played a set in toronto (nov 18). I am so glad I got to go, one of the best live shows I have seen.
Reminds me of the electric teepee tour from hawkwind in 1992. Same principle. Looks way effective.

Just discovered MD today. Awesome. One of my favorite things about music is the discovery. Not only American music but Malian blues or Balian gamelan. And those lights!

@@pterafirma This inability for some people to be quiet is particularly true of concerts with some quiet bits. I always like it when a band suddenly goes VERY LOUD and shuts them up. A Mogwai concert in around 1996 springs to mind.
I told the constant natterers to f*** off if they didn't want to listen at a mogwai gig. Turning round as I said it, he was about 8 foot 6. Luckily, they sheepishly walked off.
