I don’t sell any of my babies, so there will be no competition. I have 6 silicone kits and I don’t know how to start, much less finish one. We can do it in private if you’d prefer. Hello love, thank you for the compliment. You can watch CZcams videos to get yourself started. It’s not about competition to me at all. I started painting because it saves me money when I want a doll. It hard for me to teach anyone how to paint because I don’t have any space and I set myself up on top of my washing machine.and the silicone paint attracts EVERY LITTLE BIT OF HAIR AND DUST THAT IT CAN. so I have to be picking it off with tweezers.plus the silicone paint dries fast. So I’m really don’t have the setup to teach. But there’s a lot of videos on CZcams you can watch.

I haven’t found any that can show me the very first step, the base prep coat..after that, I think I’m set…I’ve been painting vinyl dolls for 7 years..I know how to paint…I just don’t want to mess up the very first coat…that is what I’ve found to be the killer or savior of every paint job I’ve ever attempted. What does first coat, the base coat, consist of. Do you just jump in with the first coat of paint, or is there a prep for it? I’ve looked at dozens of tutorials, no one shows the initial base coat application. Thank you for your sweet reply, you are very kind. Hugs, Joy

Hello love, so the bath is to wash off the matting powder. You have to wash it off really good or the power drys up chalky on the doll. When you paint silicone dolls you have to wash the doll multiple times. The silicone paint attracts all types of hair and dust onto the doll so you have to constantly pick off stuff off the doll. So you have to wash the doll in between painting.
