Auto trac--- 1. set a 2.Set b at end of the field 3. get out of that page and push a little button on the screen that looks like a steering wheel to turn the auto trac on. 4. push the botton on the armrest 5. relax The beeps mean you are nearing the end of the field and it will beep again where you set the start of your A or ended the B line Any questions, ask me! Check out some videos on youtube about how to set it up
Hello George The best way to set up Autotrac is to go into greenstar3pro which gives you an 8 page setup menu and you can save all your machines in there and also clients farms and fields. It's simpler than it sounds. Glad you are enjoying your new job and love your videos. Thanks Adam Neave
Thats some dangerous entrance there of that fast duel carriage way, a perfect excuse to ask Henry for some extra LED's safety comes 1st and we like flashing things dont we hey? lol.
I have used Autosteer on the new style JD screen but I can imagine you can still do the same functions. You should be able to save machine widths in it and also be able to bump the line left or right and set a new line if you find things arn't lining up how you like e.g when muck spreading. Autosteer really comes in handy for cultivations!
Self driving tractors. Brief as I can George. Early 60s college friend's farm near Coventry was MF testing. Some fields wired, some had sensors along the edges. First time I drove a tractor with no steering wheel.....2 levers.
The only thing I've found that works with spreading on gps is just to set it at a rough width and then just keep shifting your line to where you want it! Like you say it's never a definite width!
FYI George, if you are using taxi radios you will be in violation of the licensing rules. Only CB and PMR 446 under 0.5w transmitting power are License free
jake woods simple look on 4extrahands for harvest silage jobs youll start at the bottom as bitch boy then move your way up dont expect to be on a combine on your first year

Again a good video
PMR are always better then the unregulated CB. Higher power, greater sensitivity and if purchased dedicated frequency so no cross talk.
You have earned a new sub
Ohh ignoring a text from the Mrs. There will be war when she sees this lol
good video george!
We use uhf radio here in Australia way better than cb it's saved my life and license to many times to count

HI George, do you know where they got the s/h two way radios? Looking for some for myself but don't know much about them....
I believe most if not all hydro static tractors you can use the breaks and not the clutch
kylewil12plays that's not hydro static though it's 100% mechanical drive
John Deere 6830 fan oh okay was not sure most people run hydrostatic these days so I figured maybe that one was one as well
mt grandpa runs autosteer all the time. he runs it on a 14 foot chisel plow and a 35 foot field cutivator
George the T6 new Holland’s can do it great for bailing
the beeping means that u are getting ready to be at the end of your turn row
George when your near the end it will beep at you to tell you your coming up to the end of the line
Can you give us a tour of the tractor George?
do you prefer the john deere or the fendt in terms of driver comfort, ease of use, features?

Oh, garbage on the roadsides, now i know what is not only in my country.
FYI George, if you are using taxi radios you will be in violation of the licensing rules.
Only CB and PMR 446 under 0.5w transmitting power are License free
Michael C Wilson maybe they are paying then 😂😂😂
i didnt know that you could have it that you dont need clutch on the direct drive box.
the beeping means that you are close to the end of the field
Are slow vehicles like tractors allowed on dual carriageways in the UK? Here in the Netherlands they are not allowed on 100+ kmh (60+ mph) roads.
Only Motorways between certain times, Dual carriageways are allowed.
HughzieTube no they can't go on the Motorway period

Jim Breen for when stuff comes flying out the spreader e.g stones and that then it wont smash the back window.
Joseph Stephenson oh right thanks would stone etc fly that far.
Jim Breen it can do
Rick Grimes ah ok because we just use a side discharge rotary spreader
Rick Grimes ah ok because we just use a side discharge rotary spreader
You don't have to use the clutch on some valtra
On all "stepless" tractors you don't have to use the clutch! =D
James Kelsall that's the same as Case tractors
SwedishGunMate that's not a stepless gearbox though
The john deere? No, i know..
