2023 Can Am Outlander XT850 deep woods trail ride

- This is a very cool episode! Join me in the deep woods of our Southern Illinois farm as I take out my new 2023 Can Am Outlander 850 XT (aka Outlander XT850) and hit some steep ditch crossings, some rocks, hills, fields and valleys and get some fresh air! Due to time contraints I had to cut this particual trail ride adventure a little short, but fear not! The next episode of trail riding will pick up right where this one left off! There are 9 different programmable engine and transmission settings on this 2023 Can Am Outlander 850 XT! What made you get the outlander vs everything else out there?
edit: awesome underbelly cam footage. I've literally never seen that on an ATV video and I've watched wayy to many videos doing this purchasing research!

If driving slow like in video I would use low gear. Better on your belt. Also look up cooling fan bypass, well worth the investment. Under 25 mph it is really nice to keep engine cooler.

Nearly a year later. How's it holding up?
No issues whatsoever, but have not put a ton of miles on it. Mostly use it for working on the farms and land!
I have a feeling that riding these would be a lot more fun if I was younger. 😒
I'm getting older know 55 and its still fun getting out riding atv and stuff I might not ride as hard or as far but it's still a blast! Dont stop doing what you love just because of your age enjoy it until the end.
@@riverrunner4958 I never thought I'd say "I wish I was 55 again", but here we are. The bumps are jarring for these old bones.
@dustdevl get a sxs. Much nicer on the body. I know it's driving and not riding but it gets you out there.

I have not heard that unless you mean maxing out, which is definitely not happening.
I heard it along the 2:30 mark while idling. Could Just be me.

@@kapperoutdoors Ha That may be Just the way the rotax sounds. I’m on the fence whether to buy the 850 outlander or the Yamaha 700 grizzly.
They all sound like that
