There wasnt enough progress between last season and this season in europe for my liking. I was hoping theyd move on from not taking their chances to taking their chances and then not managing the end game effectively, so they get the chance to experience and learn from those situations.
The problem is people have seen this team can attack now, there is no way we catch a team like madrid sleeping early game like what happened this season, they underestimated that team and they should have been punished for it. It feels like a real missed opportunity.

I’m a Rangers fan and after watching Celtic’s amazing performances this season I had to buy a therapy dog , I take it for walks now instead of watching the football which relieves my anxiety and depression, the missus wasn’t helping things by putting up pictures of Jota 😂

@@robdorr1 Hey Robert , i am a Celtic fan who lives in Toronto and follow Toronto FC who are a major MLS team , the league is pretty decent standard now and has definitely improved over the years , alot of British/European players in the twilight of their careers have gone there ( Beckham , Henri to name but a few ) so it's quite an exciting league and certainly on par with ( possibly even better some may say ) than The SPL .
The lure of coming to a club like Celtic is of course the chance to play in Europe against teams like Real Madrid etc. and of course , with a team like Celtic , win trophies .
I totally agree with you as to how well he has adapted so far , am super impressed , he did of course play for Canada in the Quatar World Cup last year , so he does have experience of the big stage .

I went on FC Montreal’s website and watched a bunch of highlights of their games last season to get a better sense of who Alistair Johnston is and I was really impressed both with the quality of play across MLS as well as AJ’s quality. I was most impressed by his in-game intelligence. But what struck me most was his play for Canada in the World Cup qualifiers. Holy Shit. As an aside, that Canadian Men’s National Team has the potential to be incredible going into 2026. Besides AJ, they have Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David (leading scorer in Ligue 1 - yes more goals than MBappe), Stephan Eustaquio (rated the number 1 central midfielder in Portugal) and Cyle Larin (currently scoring a bunch in La Liga). I would love to see a friendly with our Scottish boys playing Canada. I think our boys would win 6 or 7 times out of 10 but Canada are bloody good.

As a Rangers fan, Kyogo, Jota & Hetate will go down as a set of players I wish we had. Ange is blatantly a good manager but the transfer business is commendable, can't think of one that hasn't worked for them. Currently the difference in the sides for me.

Early in his tenure with Celtic, I was critical of Jota for what I felt was his lack of strength and physicality...
Either he's found some confidence, or he's been training in the weight room. He's become a proper powerful winger, while retaining his finesse and skill off the dribble.

I never really thought Mooy was short on physical strength. But he did take some time to get his sea legs under himself. He doesn't seem quite the attacking threat of Hatate, or the field general that Callum is, but he is definitely a nice blend of both. He seems a perfectly lovely young man as well, if perhaps a bit camera shy.

I live in the US. The streaming service I normally rely upon for Celtic matches didn't carry today's game - so, unfortunately I was confined to highlights.
What I like about Jota, even when not at his best, is that he is frequently the only player we have who is a genuine threat in a 1 v 1 situation. We've got heaps of players who pass well, turn deftly, and move off ball with purpose and pace. But, he and Sead are our only true solo threats.
Only my amateur opinion. I humbly allow for the possibility that I'm talking nonsense.
@@kentgrady9226 I love watching Jota play, but for me he is so fustrating, in this game he displayed strength and class in winning and then shielding the ball but his final shot was so poor. At times you would think you are seeing two players with two sets of very different sets of skills.
Wasn't sure about Moy at the start. Thought he was a bit negative. Really impressed with him now total baller

We made the most difficult tie ay the qtrs, look the easiest. We were amazing and just when we HAD tae make sure we turned up, we 110% turned up all right. Wit can a say about they first 2 goals man? Mooy's finish for our 1st wiz spectacular. A ball like that coming in at that pace, most players would have put that cross intae row z, but his control wiz utter perfection. Then our 2nd bang on halftime wiz the killer blow, and who else but wee Kyogo wae the most beautiful wee back leg flick wiz with killed them off really a think. Most ay the 2nd half we just made sure we were comfortable and kept it tight at the back until big CCV 's 3rd. We just played about wae them after that. Now we've got yet another semi at our 2md home and at least we're the team fae Glasgow that's totally deserved their place at Hampden again. A massive Hail Hail ay all the Bhoys & Ghirls who'll be going out the night tae enjoy the days performance and all the hangovers the morra morning will be worth it. Hail Hail.

I'm loving the style of play under Ange P. The mids can create with free flowing one touch football or hold it up and move it from side to side or even back to the keeper and start again. They seem calm and in control. They have control and flare. Those first 2 goals were crackers!
