The Bellows Gill: Drop Shot Tips that Work!

We’ve done several episodes showing off the new Bellows Gill from Geecrack. Today was the first time I have had a chance to fish this bait. My good friend, Scott Bast, wanted to go on a little fishing trip so we spent a few hours on Lake Geneva and tried out this bait to see how it did. Watch the action and see the rigging that finally started to produce results.

I’ve never caught anything on a drop shot. Admittedly I haven’t used it a lot but I have a bait very similar to that I’m going to try. Hopefully my luck will change.

I’ll tell you, a drop shot in clear water situations is a VERY productive presentation. Not saying the Bellows Gill is my first choice. But I’m playing around with it to see where it fits in when I’m using that technique. Thanks for tuning in!

Same. I find dropshotting a very boring technique, but I’m forcing myself to get better at it.
