Nice review. I always wanted to get my hands on one. I think I will start looking for one. Since it now has some better enhancements. I was just wondering it the beretta px4 compact carry 2 is optics ready.
He’s right. Berettas ship with a preservative oil. It is not gun oil and so the firearms must be thoroughly cleaned and re-oiled with good gun oil before shooting.
I'm really not trying to be confusing, but I'm on Beretta's website, and it literally says that the "Compact Carry 2 has received enhancements in close collaboration with Langdon Tactical Technology (LTT)". Langdon has also said it in more than one interview that it comes stock with some of their upgrades.
I have the full size in one of these. The magazines when new, can be pretty tight. You really should fully load your magazine and empty it 4-5 times to loosen it up a bit. In my 17 round mag, I had to use the speed loader after 14 rounds to push in the last game. After that, the magazines are great.
@@grumpyoldman4572 I haven’t had any issues like that yet. I may have gone through about 1200 rounds and it seems to get better with time. I do keep it well lubed.
What you have is a Langdon. The stock V2 has some upgrades by Langdon, just not all. You can tell by the hammer type. If you have the low profile carry hammer, it has some of the LT features, if I understand correctly. You can get them directly from LT if you want more extensive work done.
It’s not a “Langdon” it’s the “cc2” model, it is the new stock model for compact carry. It’s really confusing information out there. But yeah it has some upgrades but not “Langdon” branded ones. Just the factory beretta upgrades; hammer change, stealth decocker, hammer spring. For it to be a Langdon cc2 I guess it would have that extra fancy trigger job. I have a cc2 with a vp comp with out light.
@@newtypeJP I`m under the impression it has the drop in trigger package you can buy from the Langdon web sit . Maybe I will send am e-mail to Langdon and post there reply and hopefully end any confusion.
This is not a Langdon. This comes from the Beretta warehouse. Beretta assembly has added the Langdon trigger bar and upgraded the gun. But this is NOT a Langdon. It's a much upgraded gun over the stock PX4 from Beretta. The Langdon gun is at least $1600. LTT gun has optic cut, compensator, magwell and the Langdon trigger job.
You are right but it does not have the LTT trigger bar I talked to LTT it would cost $175.00 for the trigger bar and polishing of the trigger assembly. That`s what I am thinking of doing still on the fence for the front night sight@@rotadyma
I wouldn't you have the night sights this model doesn't and the hammer is not a deal breaker for me at least I would keep what you have. If you have the money to spend I would send it to Langdon Tactical and get the trigger job.

No you will have to send it to Langdon Tactical for that.
Thanks for the review. I have been thinking about buying this weapon but can’t seem to find much information about it online.
Here is a pretty good video czcams.com/video/-QttFJxRhVs/video.htmlsi=dXkrfVr53L4C6soL Beretta`s website has some good information as well. Good luck.
I wouldn't hesitate... nice weapon and real good trigger
I just pulled the proverbial trigger. In Maryland, I have to wait for it to come in then another week.
it has shipping grease for shipping overseas , clean verry well.
Thank you I have cleaned it very well I hope to take it to the range soon and see how it runs after cleaning maybe 200 rounds.

Thanks for that tip mine are real tight. I will try that. Any problems with slide not locking back on last round?

I’m curious what your best guesstimate is for the DA/SA trigger pull? If I remember correctly the original CC was around 10lbs DA pull.
I got out the trigger gauge and DA is 9 to 9 1/2 and SA is 3 1/2 to 4lbs and butter smooth.

Thank you I was thinking about the compensator but haven't decided yet. I have seen one review on it and it was very positive .

I’m tempted to get one but I already have the carry 1

Where are you located? Got kinda a “Balmore” accent
Originally Philadelphia Pa Then moved to Hershey Pa
@@grumpyoldman4572makes sense, Baltimore is like Philly’s excrement. Well you sold me.
