I'm wearing Clip-in extensions and Holly is wearing Tape-in Extensions. Here is our feedback on the two different types that are popular today. I can completely relate to the knots in the hair and breakage...I was taking Biotin too...but got lazy and kept forgetting to take it...need to get back on track with that....what are your favourite clip in hair extensions? There are so many that are endorsed here on CZcams it gets overwhelming....great Collab video....thank you for sharing your tips with us....that brush looks amazing!

The clip in makes her hair look fuller... I am debating on what to do for my wedding hair... I hate having product in my hair and the husband to be and I will be going to Cancun right after the wedding. The great debate, get tape in, or glue in, or micro beads... and deal with it the entire honey moon. OR... Get clip ins and take it out after the photos are taken?
The clip ins look amazing. You both are fabulous! I'm just torn on which to choose.

Yes!!! Every week I do a hot oil treatment with coconut oil. When my hair gets knotty, I will leave peter thomas conditioning treatment in for like 35 mins before I shower so it doesn't get worse, this makes it so silky and gets rid of all the tangles.. And sometimes I use "its a 10" before I dry it, and I put Giovanni shine serum on when it dries to hydrate it a bit

Yes! In our last video, she mentioned that it's the only extensions she can wear her hair up with. She loves it!
Paige do u get hair cuts ?? If so what do u ask for ? I have the same hair as you ( not as long wish it was ) fine hair and always have trouble with haircuts. I haven't cut it in a yr and a half cuz I'm scare they'll chop it all of again. Just wondering what hair cut u have since my hair is starting to look stringy w not style
Hey Amanda Portes !! I don't get haircuts, I trim it myself, I have pretty fine hair so it's always been easy for me to cut it without it looking off I can do a video one day for that! They always cut off too much at the salon - Even when I go to get highlighted they tell me I need an inch or two, that usually means 3+ at the salon haha. So I keep a little bit of my split ends and just trim here and there! For me, It's a bit stringy since it is kind of fine too - so If I want more of a style I'll wear the extensions and do some kind of around the face braid or curls! =)

Omg story of my life.. I too don't like how my hair looks after opening a braid in the morning tht I tied at night to avoid knots n tangles.. I just have to tie a braid..
Hahaha yep!! Mine looks so bad after a braid, bit it's the best way for me to avoid knots.. Two braids is the best for me knot wise :)
how are tape ins not damaging though? you have a sticky tape/glue in your hair all the times prefer clip ins, looks better imo an I can wash my hair
yeah that is kinda nasty after a while not to wash your scalp and even with dry shampoo it will start to get itchy after a while. You can wash your hair as normal with sulfate free shampoo so that it doesn't damage the bonding of the glue. Just don't rub it too hard. I have been doing hair extensions professionally for 3 years and I also wear them and trust me, you want to wash your hair 3 times a week to keep it clean and fresh.

I got my tapes in last week and I love them I'm so not use to haveing thick and long hair again taking a little bit to get used to but I love that they sit flat and they look natural

Tape ins do damage your hair....
Rachael M No they don't. If you use them properly. Use common sense, and hygiene. People get the feeling that their hair is thinner or damaged when they remove them, but actually it's cause they got so used to having the tapes in and having thicker healthier hair. It also looks like it's breaking your hair off once you remove it but actually, about 100 strands fall off a day naturally, now imagine how many strands that fall of stay in the tape, then x that by 6 weeks or however long you keep them in. Obviously if you're yanking at them, not brushing or removing them inappropriately, of course you will damage your hair. But get them put in and removed by someone who knows what they are doing, take care of your hair and you should absolutely not have any damage.
Diana T I did get them put in and taken out professionally lol it's common sense to know that tape ins damage your hair look it up. The only non damaging types of hair extensions are micro beed and clip ins.
