Recipe and ingredients:
1 cup of oatmeal.
80 g peanuts.
10 g of vanilla sugar.
1 tablespoon of cocoa.
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds.
1 banana.
150 ml of water.
Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees C.
Very tasty!

Looks great! I'm thinking though that perhaps the vanilla sugar can be replaced with some vanilla extract and maybe 1-2 tablespoons of date syrup, thus removing the unhealthy sugar. What do you think? :)
For your body, sugar is sugar.
Regular sugar, honey, fruit sugars, maple syrup, date, it's all completely irrelevant.
What matters is quantity and balance in diet.
If you prefer date syrup then go for it but it is definitely insignificant from health perspective.
@@headchef704 I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, I've spent 20 years researching this, and in my experience and my studies, refined sugars are not healthy. Overall, the main principle when it comes to health and nutrition, is that whole foods/non-processed foods, are - generally - better than processed :) Refined sugar can damage your DNA, lower your immune system etc. Meanwhile dates contain fibres and other nutrients which can have a very positive impact on your health in many ways, especially your gut health. The fibre also slows down absorption. There are tons of studies out there on this if you're interested :)

@@my2cents2u There is such a thing as processed vs non-processed however. Your body wants to "refine" the food itself, and has systems in place for doing so in a way that isn't harmful (in moderation obviously). When you eat refined/processed sugary foods however, it can cause troubles with blood sugar and make some problems worse. If you eat real food that still has its fibre etc. intact, the absorption tends to be slower and more in line with what the body prefers. This is why it's better to eat whole fruits than to juice and drink fruit, for example. I'm a nurse by the way, and these are the principles we practice when it comes to diabetes patients for example.
@@miraiedits You are right. I have type 2 diabetes and have learned that prunes are considered a healthy food for me, even though they are quite sweet. They have lots of fiber, taste like candy, but are still considered "low glycemic." I think blueberries are good, too. I don't eat a ton of any one thing, but balance it out with a variety of other foods; (veggies, fruits, healthy carbs, and proteins) at each meal.
