About Designer Steve Thompson
Steve Thompson moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles in 1992 with dreams of becoming a Disney animator. Once in Los Angeles, he attended the Character Animation program at California Institute of the Arts and began working for Disney in 1994. After many years at Disney Feature Animation, Steve transitioned to the Disney Stores in 2005. Currently, he spends his days creating memorable artwork and products that bring beloved characters to life. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has always held a special place in Steve's heart, with it being the first full-length animated film and Snow White the very first Disney Princess. Walt Disney took a huge risk with this movie, but it changed film history forever and created an iconic character celebrated worldwide. The film always reminds Steve to take risks, be kind to others, and stay true to yourself. With Steve's design, he wanted to show Snow White as the powerful character she is; every storytelling detail he includes showcases her strength and beauty. I was afraid the ruffle on the cape would cover up her face (it kind of looked that way in the very first pictures we got) but it looks like if you position it just right you won’t have to worry about it. Beautiful doll and a very unique take on Snow White.

I’m not a Snow White fan but this doll is so beautiful. I’ve really loved this series and am not sure why it hasn’t been more popular. I’ve bought 2 so far and considering I’m not a collector that feels like a big compliment ❤️
At first I thought it was horrific but then when I learned they were making her look like the Queen, I suddenly loved it so much so I bought it. All hail the Queen the fairest of them all!

The look is very 30s, I love it.
This doll definitely looks better out of the box than in it which is why I haven't got her yet. I don't debox and I wish they she was in the box facing straight forward. She would look so much better.

Very good review. I also love what motion_with_dolls did with the cape on one shoulder. It's very simple but airier I think. I don't know if I will buy her or not, I have to get used to this "strong" SW! but she's cute. ^^

she so pretty i have snow white designer i think came with witch i bought mine de box. i only have snow white i bought just her. on ebay. i would like to see more disney villians be part of play line that come new boxes to open. i would like hades doll that less money. i also wonder going get new jafar doll for aladdin 30 in new boxes are easy to open. i dont have any dolls this line ones my favorite is pocahontas and snow white even i am huge ariel fan i like hair style just not oufit for me i would probly de box vision onebay

Love the dress, dislike the ruffles on cape, hate the crown, makeup could be better, but she is growing on me!!
I don't 100% love this doll, but I do feel it's the best of all the girls so far. It's such a missed opportunity that the AMAZING detail on the cape is on the INSIDE! I would have put that as the outside and the quilting underneath. The only thing I really don't like is the crown, too much like a man's king crown.

Personally I don’t care for the ruffle, around her neck. It makes her look like a clown. I also don’t like the skirt, because I don’t like netting, it is the cheapest fabric they could use. It should only be used for under a skirt, or for a tutu. With that crown ,I think they made her look like a clown queen.
I love her face, hair, earings and dress expect mermaid part. I do not think that Snow White would wear a crown and this big cloak.
Horrible, horrible just horrible. 🫣
