Interesting how all el250's sound like a bunch of spanners in a dustbin. must be that particular design. I would love one. very nice looking practical little commuter.
I have on exactly the same an I thought the motor had something wrong with it because of the tinny sound but I've had it 16 years and I've got over 90,000 klms on it and the motor is still fine
Nostalgia for me this was my first bike I ever bought lol I'm gunna get one again just because I wanna garage it and take it out for weekend runs

Is there any way to improve the sound?
I just bought one. It's really nice, but the sound is funny :))
A new exhaust pipe would improve the sound but it's never bothered me.
