- So I had attended the 2018 Permain Basin Comic Con in Texas. I had already asked Todd Haberkorn, the voice of Teruteru and Korekiyo from Danganronpa, which voice he had more fun voicing in the game series. So during the Fairy Tail panel I had decided to ask if he and monica ever heard of memes around their characters, bring up NicoB's Korekiyo Seesaw meme. The result is something I never expected.

Before anymore people comment this, yes I know NicoB did not create the Seesaw meme. I simply thought this because it was the first time I heard of the meme. I know now so can everyone please stop constantly pointing it out to me.

Ninja Kuma - Let's Plays, Reactions, Meme's Yeah after it was recorded and posted, I was told NicoB wasn't the creator. ^^; I simply thought he was because his lp was the first time I heard of the Seesaw meme. But regardless, I still got a funny encounter even though I made a goof when it comes to meme origins. ^^
By the way, your reaction videos are great! I especially enjoyed the DR3 reactions.

Yeah that meme came from Japan I think (oddly enough, they meme too) but it was hilarious to see them all after trial 3
I think Seesaw is still "our" meme. They have a similar meme in which Kiyo is called "Tulpa-man" (tulpa = salt).

@@pmintertek The Tulpaman nickname and meme started on 4chan, who - in their infinite wisdom - decided a delusional psychotic with an alternate personality was actually just "an autist" with a tulpa. The Japanese nickname for Kiyo is "Salty" because of the salt used in his seances and the salt used to banish him to the afterlife during his "exorcism."

You know, for a few seconds, I was beginning to worry that this was going to end up being awkward. Not only was I wrong, but I ended up laughing so hard I could barely breathe, especially when he started screaming "WHERE THE SEESAWS GO!?" XD

I think he knew what I meant, after all I did say Korekiyo and that it was a Danganronpa reference. I think he might have made a joke about what it sounds like. Because seesaws do sound like seasauce. I'm guessing this becuase he seems to like going for the unexpected jokes. An example would be during autographs. My brother jokingly asked "Kiyo why did you murder Tenko?" Todd shrugged his shoulders and said "Eh I had a lot of time on my hands." I kind of find that pretty funny. But yeah I think he did turn the "seesaws" into a "seasauce" joke, definitely explains him listing food items.

You asked Todd which character he had more fun playing as in Danganronpa? What was his answer?
SweetDreamTreat He answered Korekiyo. Basically he said he liked both, Teruteru because he cooks and Korekiyo because he's a better dresser. In the end he picked Korekiyo for being more mysterious and creepy.

He didn't seem sore to me. You'd be surprised how much Todd joked around in this and the previous panel. He seemed more than happy to make a joke about it considering he even brought up seesaws in his answer to the next question.
Me Myself You are aware that if Todd felt annoyed with me he could have easily said "Um yes, next question." But he didn't and even continued the joke into the next question, showing I did not waste his time.

Not really. I'm sure I pronounced it correctly. Kor-ek-eeyo That's how I prounced it.
@@DarknesstheHedgehog6 I think she's saying it should be "Ko-REK-ee-o" (emphasis on the second syllable), not "KOR-a-KEE-o." The latter way is how Nico pronounced it, so maybe that's why you thought it was correct.
am a year late, but the person before me stated 2 pronunciations, both of which are technically correct but the latter is closer to the japanese (or for lack of better words, correct) pronunciation.
