Parents, I’m so surprised that you would go online to put your daughter-in-law and La Sana on display. You guys are older and wiser and bigger. I totally understand the instinct for you to fight for your son and as parent and you should, but a still tongue keeps a wise head. But there are so many videos of sana with his wife and kids together having fun doing things together after he came back from st. anns hospital. This does not mesh with the story his parents are giving here. They make it look like he was kept away from his kids, but the video evidence does not reflect this.

There is possibly an element of spite on Melissa's part because of the breakdown in so many relationships. However, Sana admitted to wanting to try marijuana and his Mom said that he was a heavy drinker. I am sorry but for a grown man with three young daughters and two sons to want to try marijuana is not a smart decision. Marijuana has driven many a people crazy. It damages the brain. Lasana can get his life back and be strong again. However, he has to stop focussing on Melissa and allow himself time to heal. These videos about her will create further division and enmity and make the chance of any progress impossible. I understand the pain but think about it. As much as you love him parents, it's not fair to ignore the bad choices that he has made. With two marriages collapsing it is important to look at where he went wrong. In terms of the house, those children have you and Lasanas's DNA. To think of evicting them even if you have issues with the mother is just wrong. I remember when my parents were separated. My Mom and father's Mom (my grandmother) were not on speaking terms. However, she never stopped us seeing them. When my grandmother came to see us one day and did not like where we lived. She gave us her apartment and we lived there with our Mom for years. It was not about my Mom and her not speaking. It was recognising that we were her blood family, her son's children and making sure that we were comfortable and safe foremost. I don't think they ever had anything to do with each other. Those children will always be your blood.

Since his split with Ellis he was ranting and raving. Spewing hate and malice against the mother of his 3 beautiful daughters. As a family familiar with this man and his issues,you took too long to act. Based on viewing all of their videos and seeing how unstable individuals who suffer from mental illness can react unpredictable I think it was both a difficult and wise decision for Ellis to protect her girls as best as possible, than allow them to become another gruesome statistic.
Unfortunately bipolar disorder is not an easy thing to deal with for both the individual suffering and the entire family. Sometimes it’s a combination of things that bring on these symptoms but it’s possible he is still dealing with some childhood trauma that was never acknowledged or addressed and over time things just continue to build up just like a pressure pot. This blame game needs to stop. The focus should be on finding the root cause of what triggered this episode. Therapy and counseling is imperative right now if you all want to move forward and help him recover. Unfortunately, if a spouse wants out of a situation, there’s nothing anyone can do about it, all you can do is be there for your son and your granddaughters. It’s not easy to be in her shoes either, because you never know what may trip him off right now until he’s been stable for a while, meaning he’s been on medication and going to therapy sessions to start to work on getting his mind back on balance again. The best thing is remove him from the environment that triggers him for now until he’s able minded enough to be back in that environment.

Taking responsibility isn't the same as taking blame. Read Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Taking responsibility gives you personal power. You can make better/different choices. A person does not have to be trapped by their past mistakes. However, there is no strength is blaming others. Energy is a precious resource which should be used to build oneself, the minute we give our energy to negatives, is a minute lost for personal growth and development. Lasana needed to do these things in the last year. It is good to have a community to talk but it is important to have a balance and social media is a double-edged sword.

This is heart breaking to say the least. For those of us who truly know Lasana will know that this man was grieving deep down inside everyday for his children. A man who loves his children dearly and was being denied d opportunity to see them or spend time with them. Trinidad is very backwards with respect to mental illness and the citizens are very ignorant and have no understanding. A child can be raised well and still have a plenthora of mental illnesses. Its very complicated. And help is not easy to get and look how st. Anns is. I can understand why a mother may be fed up and want to leave the marriage but one is not suppose to alienate the other parent from visiting. I prayed for Lasana. and here is the wisdom I felt like sharing. tell Lasana to remember his 6,000 subcribers that God gave him 6,000 folks loves him and appreciates who he is and who is standing with him . he did so much good. His cooking and gardening is amazing . his jovial nature hold on to all that he did in the past year and let go of the pain put it all at the foot of the cross. Dig up the past and place it ad the foot of the cross . Knowing that one day his daughters will grow up and have their own family and they will know the truth . Maybe Melissa is the one who is mad. I used to watch her videos and he was in them, then I noticed that he was nolonger in them. I also noticed her attitude and felt something was wrong. I remember when one of Lyndon's daughters had a birthday party and Sana's children were not allowed to attend the party. I am sorry for the children but they know more than we think they do, she may think that she has won but wait untill they are older.

Time to hire a lawyer and get an advocate for Sana who will ensure his mental health well being while he is institutionalized. Lance, once you ensure your son's well being, it's time to execute/enforce your document. Louise, hold on, God will hear and answer your prayers. Your granddaughters will know you love and care for them. Children know when they are being wrongly influenced. Use this time with Sana away to get your legal ducks in a row. Im sorry to hear your situation about your son . Brings back so much bad memories from the early '80s. My older brother got into a motorbike accident and got severe brain damage and his left side was paralyzed. He was never the same again, he went from being a great cricketer and MTS guard to someone who needed assistance to do everything. After about 6 months he started having phycotic episodes,being violent, not knowing who he was and missing for days on end. I remember driving all around central Trinidad with my mom crying in the car. When we did find him , he would be beaten with black eyes ,head half shaven , right side shaven and left half not cut , you know like people having a laugh while terrorizing a person who is sick . Anyways im going on too much, I'm sorry it's just that I'm having flashbacks of those difficult days in our lives. So he ended up on numerous occasions in St Ann's hospital. Always being beaten up by heartless people, my brother never liked to ,stay home. He suffered so much until he passed away about 8 years ago. RIP Brother. I just hope Sana makes a full recovery. There's so much to say about my brother, but I'll leave it at that .

I remember when my parents were separated. My Mom and father's Mom (my grandmother) were not on speaking terms.
However, she never stopped us seeing them. When my grandmother came to see us one day and did not like where we lived. She gave us her apartment and we lived there with our Mom for years.

Since his split with Ellis he was ranting and raving. Spewing hate and malice against the mother of his 3 beautiful daughters. As a family familiar with this man and his issues,you took too long to act.
Based on viewing all of their videos and seeing how unstable individuals who suffer from mental illness can react unpredictable I think it was both a difficult and wise decision for Ellis to protect her girls as best as possible, than allow them to become another gruesome statistic.
Sana has a serious mental health illness. Treatment longterm all that matters now. We r praying
Unfortunately bipolar disorder is not an easy thing to deal with for both the individual suffering and the entire family. Sometimes it’s a combination of things that bring on these symptoms but it’s possible he is still dealing with some childhood trauma that was never acknowledged or addressed and over time things just continue to build up just like a pressure pot. This blame game needs to stop. The focus should be on finding the root cause of what triggered this episode. Therapy and counseling is imperative right now if you all want to move forward and help him recover.
Unfortunately, if a spouse wants out of a situation, there’s nothing anyone can do about it, all you can do is be there for your son and your granddaughters. It’s not easy to be in her shoes either, because you never know what may trip him off right now until he’s been stable for a while, meaning he’s been on medication and going to therapy sessions to start to work on getting his mind back on balance again. The best thing is remove him from the environment that triggers him for now until he’s able minded enough to be back in that environment.

This is heart breaking to say the least. For those of us who truly know Lasana will know that this man was grieving deep down inside everyday for his children. A man who loves his children dearly and was being denied d opportunity to see them or spend time with them. To go places and see fathers spending time with their children, to see Lyndon spend time with his daughters, to have his kids birthdays pass and not see them, to have Christmas, Valentine's and all d other occasions pass and u can't see your children is enough to send someone crazy. This man is so full of love. Look at his interaction with Haley and Anna, when he spends time with them he wishes that his girls could be there too. Every time he's in Caura, he's so close and yet so far away. Look at how he focuses his love on Simon. He seemed ok but was far from it. The depression started seeping in once more until he exploded. Trinidad is very backwards with respect to mental illness and the citizens are very ignorant and have no understanding. A child can be raised well and still have a plenthora of mental illnesses. Its very complicated. And help is not easy to get and look how st. Anns is.

I prayed for Lasana. and here is the wisdom I felt like sharing. tell Lasana to remember his 6,000 subcribers that God gave him 6,000 folks loves him and appreciates who he is and who is standing with him . he did so much good. His cooking and gardening is amazing . his jovial nature hold on to all that he did in the past year and let go of the pain put it all at the foot of the cross. Dig up the past and place it ad the foot of the cross . Knowing that one day his daughters will grow up and have their own family and they will know the truth . It's hard the pain of not being involved in their lives but put that to the Lord and dedicate yourself wholly to the Lord spend time in his word . Maybe Melissa is the one who is mad. I used to watch her videos and he was in them, then I noticed that he was nolonger in them. I also noticed her attitude and felt something was wrong. I remember when one of Lyndon's daughters had a birthday party and Sana's children were not allowed to attend the party. I am sorry for the children but they know more than we think they do, she may think that she has won but wait untill they are older.

Im sorry to hear your situation about your son . Brings back so much bad memories from the early '80s. My older brother got into a motorbike accident and got severe brain damage and his left side was paralyzed. He was never the same again, he went from being a great cricketer and MTS guard to someone who needed assistance to do everything. After about 6 months he started having phycotic episodes,being violent, not knowing who he was and missing for days on end. I remember driving all around central Trinidad with my mom crying in the car. When we did find him , he would be beaten with black eyes ,head half shaven , right side shaven and left half not cut , you know like people having a laugh while terrorizing a person who is sick . Anyways im going on too much, I'm sorry it's just that I'm having flashbacks of those difficult days in our lives. So he ended up on numerous occasions in St Ann's hospital. Always being beaten up by heartless people, my brother never liked to ,stay home. He suffered so much until he passed away about 8 years ago. RIP Brother. I just hope Sana makes a full recovery. There's so much to say about my brother, but I'll leave it at that .
