But we are Africans, it should not be strange. We are one
But of course. She’s Jamaican 🇯🇲 we fit in everywhere. Plus, culturally we’re very close. I too marry an
Igbo man.
Big up all a di Yardies who are finding their way home back to our Ancestral land 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲… such a beautiful wedding. Tell Toya we said Congratulations for bagging an Igbo man.

The outfits and headwear are so beautiful its amazing I am Jamaican and I can feel and see the love in everyone I am so proud of my African heritage blessings from London uk 🇬🇧
I love how your brothers wife embraced the culture. She blended in so well. If you didn't say she was Jamaican I wouldn't have guessed
Yes. Our Jamaican culture has the same vibe. Just different languages
@@TheRoxyB I disagree because I know many Jaimacan that marry Nigerians that it didn't work.
@@godwinejiofor8064 it still doesn’t remove the fact that both cultures are similar......it’s a pity it ended the way it did
@@godwinejiofor8064 And, there are many Nigerians who had married other Nigerians and it didn't work either.... We don't know the future, so just wish them God's blessings... If she was white or Asian, you wouldn't be taking this nonsense. You don't know if this woman doesn't have Nigerian ancestry. Black people need to stop hating one another.
I agree!!😊😊😊
This occasion warms my heart. My brother is married to a Jamaican lady and have been married for 25years and still going strong. I could not of ask for a better woman. My sister is also married to a Jamaican man. Both my siblings are extremely blessed to have found my darling brother and sister-in-law. Both are the best!!!
It does not matter where you are from our prayer is to marry the right person. May God bless their marriage.
Your brother’s wife is so beautiful Alma. I can’t get enough of your mum
Awwwww thank you so much dear
My Jamaican sister just fits right in, if I hadn’t read the title I wouldn’t know she’s not from there👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿……#backtothemotherland🥰🥰🥰🥰
She fits right in!!!
Alma, your brother look like a real Jamaican too though 😁. All of you. This reminds me of Jamaica back in the day when we always made our own outfits. No1 in Jamaica would believe that he wasn’t a Jamaican. Very beautiful ❤️
Beautiful!!! Am Yoruba but she is still our wife.
God bless your union.
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Love how your family has loved Latoya and her family
I admire your parents for accepting her regardless of her tribe/country ❤️❤️
Most African parents should learn from this and allow their children to be with whomever they want from any tribe
God bless grandma and grandpa Mia❤️❤️
It's all because of the fear that the foreigner may not fit in. Because lineage and continuity means a lot to us, Africans. When the parents are no more, they want someone to sit pretty and take over the family. Same reason they crave for Male children.
If she does that, like I know some non- Africans married to Africans, who do, she will not have any problem.
Most Nigerian kids abroad don't even marry Nigerians and parent's don't really have a say in it cos the way they are brought up is completely different plus there's a lot of interaction with kids from different countries so the likelihood of inter-marriage is very high.
We are one though. African parents and family must realize when we marry each other. We retain the wealth in our families and culture
My parents are so liberal and open! Thank God for them too!
This is the most welcomed a bride could ever feel.. Come on.. Your family is soo down to earth and humble
Awwwww thank you so much ☺️
The bride looks so simple n down to earth , she looks like a good soul.
She is such a wonderful soul!!
Alma I cried when Aunty was talking and asked “isn’t it good to be home?”. She said, “this girl is a Nigerian”! Hun, I cried🥲. Even I that my whole family is Jamaican took my Ancestry DNA and let me tell you that I’m 59% Nigerian in some tests and 63% in others. I’ve even connected with my African family members-especially some in Nigeria.
This was such a meaningful vlog and so overwhelmingly joyful to watch. Thank you for loving our sister and welcoming her home❤️🥰🥲🌹
Wow, +59% Nigerian. Damn. We are glad you're here and making family connections
@@Fluuuv Thank you 😊
My dear I am sitting here watching and it is such a wonderful feeling to see us making that connection especially in marriage. My AncestryDNA says I am 55% Nigerian and I was born and raised in Jamaica. Aunty said “aren’t you happy to be home???” Priceless. 🇯🇲🇳🇬
@@1maneely Yes sis! The overwhelming feeling I felt at that moment was something❤️
Awwwwww!!! Much love!!!
Amen I love this watching from jamaica we're one all African I enjoyed this video stay blessed
Love the Asaba Traditional Wedding Alma. Latoya blend in nicely, you would not even know. she is not Nigerian. In Jamaica there is a song sung by the late Peter Tosh says, "No matter where you come from as long as you are Black man/woman you are an African". So I see where the culture blends in. So proud of my Jamaican heritage, hope to visit Nigeria one day. Blessings always

Nigerian weddings are the best, pure culture. I will never forget us young ladies dressed in white dancing in my friend for her wedding. I have always loved those coral beads. Everybody looks gorgeous. 💕🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
This vlog contains a wealth of information and knowledge of how Nigerians view marriage as a sacred covenant. I admire how the elders encourage and support the newly wed. As a Jamaican🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 I must honestly says this union is a fusion of both cultures anointed as one with an exceptional family and community support. God bless this union

I came across this beautiful wedding just today. I am from the Caribbean also and am not surprised to see this happening. We are all one. We down here were taken from our homeland forcefully.
