How to get your boat back onto the trailer.
Our winch post rusted through and broke on our last retrieve, so we had to do a makeshift repair and dry launch a couple of weeks ago so we could replace the winch post. While we were at it, we decided to replace the springs and bearings, so she's good as new! kind of.
In this video, we walk through the process of dry loading. It can be a bit daunting if you haven't done it before, but if you follow a few simple steps it's actually pretty straight forward.

Cool. A bit of Lanotec would do wonders on your cable. It leaves a waxy finnish to stop rust.

Just wondering why you store the boat on the ground and not just leave it on the trailer ? Where I am from we never would leave a boat on the ground like this.

Hi Sheepdog, good question. We had to repair the trailer and it was going to be impossible with the boat on. So we stored it on tyres while we repaired. We were pretty worried about it, but it ended up being pretty straightforward.
