Getting into IT and progressing through IT requires a never ending yearning for learning..at the stsrt of the video you are driving and you got a learning video on versus music on...might seem simple but that right there is very cool...keep up the good work and I've forwarded this to my staff..hopefully the take a look..

Just landed my first Network admin role at 23 lowkey nervous at not completely knowing how I’ll do, but i suspect upgrading a network like this will be a first project.

what was it like when you first started working there?
How do you like the job now?
Thank you for this day in a life of Network Engineer. New subscriber. Did you test for your CCNP?
Hi fam, the company am working for now wants me to focus on security, so am doing that now, when I’m done I will come back to ENCOR
I am a 19 year old computer technician/college student and I am currently studying for my CCNA. I was studying everyday , but now I am changing my schedule to study M-F, and Saturdays away from studying. I am using the Ned Anderson Udemy course, and the Todd Lammle's book. I pray I pass it sometime time in the next 6-7 months, any advice and tips? I want to pass it on the first try.
Hi kudos bro keep it up.
I also did use Ned Anderson Udemy course and Todd Lammle’s book but I will also recommend "if possible" use the Official Cert Guide by Wendell Odom and CBT Nuggets which u can sign up for free for 7days trials, you can cancel after that: www.cbtnuggets.com/it-training/cisco/ccna
or have a look at David Bombal & Kevin Wallace Udemy course: www.udemy.com/course/complete-ccna-master-class/
David Bambal also has a free CCNA 200-301 course on his CZcams Channel: czcams.com/video/zxZpopqhKk8/video.html
Most importantly I use Boson ExSim-Max Practice exams: www.boson.com/practice-exam/200-301-cisco-ccna-practice-exam
It’s a bit on the expensive but it helped me greatly in passing my exams. Its been said that if you can pass the Boson ExSim practice exams then you should be able to pass the Cisco Exams because the Boson’s Practice Exams is more difficult somewhat than the Cisco. I don’t know how true that is, but I can honestly say that I passed the Exams because of Boson ExSim.
I hope you find this useful and let me know how you are progressing.
This is what I used:
Video: CCNA
►CBN Nuggets
►David Bombal & Kevin Wallace
►Ned Anderson
Books: CCNA
►Todd Lammle
►Wendell Odom
Labs: CCNA
►Packet Tracer
►GNS3
►Cisco CML (I’m using this for my CCNP but also good for CCNA, you can sign up for free Sandbox on Cisco DevNet: developer.cisco.com/site/sandbox/
Practice Exams: CCNA
►Boson ExSim
@@KwasiTechSpace Thanks you very much
The cable guys seem to be running cables over the ceiling but not in the cable trays!!!
It’s an old building that’s the reason why.
It’s an old building, that’s the reason why.
Cable uplinks should be terminated on a patch panel, crimping an end will create another failure point and shielded data cable is a waste unless it's there for a purpose.
Thanks for the comment fam. We had to use shielded cables because LAN cables were running parallel to electrical cables in the ceiling. However we moved from this building to a New office building, which u can find updated playlist on my networking channel www.CZcams.com/ktslabs under playlists “NEW BUILDING - Network from Start to Finish”
Please share your journey to where you are in tech
@Oh Well Ok fam will do meanwhile you can checkout my networking channel to see what I do daily, link 👉🏽 CZcams.com/ktslabs

@Adi purnomo hi fam thanks for the comment, much appreciated, u can find the remaining episodes on my networking channel, ktslabs: czcams.com/channels/m726SPT3zxojDtd-3-kUtA.html
Nice! Is that an IPAD holder on the dash?
Yes it is fam 😂. Thanks for the compliment very much appreciated 👊🏽
I’m 22 and just received my diploma for an associates in Information technology: hardware and desktop support and I’m wondering if I should get my A+ first before applying for my first entry job or is my degree fine to get my foot in the door cause I know powershell, Linux, CLI,AD, Registry etc etc. or should I go straight into applying for higher positions and get my CCNA while working?
@Tummyhawk congratulations 🥳 fam. My advice will be go for both, Apply for entry help desk position to get your foot in the door n gain some experience but if there are higher positions available n if you qualify, then it’s better you go for that whiles studying for your CCNA. You can also check out more videos on my networking channel CZcams.com/ktslabs
Why didn’t you terminate your cables in a patch panel ?
@John Robertson hi fam, I run out off available ports on the patch panel that’s why I didn’t terminate these 4 uplinks on the patch panel
Im a new follower. where are you from bro. Thinking of doing Networking internationally
That’s Good fam, u should start studying for your CCNA and CCNP as it’s globally recognised certification
Bro I’m a Systems Tech/Engineer out here in New York it keeps you on your toes 24/7
I have my ESPA and NCEER Honeywell and Audante certifications I’ve been working on Cisco systems without the CCNA
Kudos bro 👊🏽
It does bro 😂

18 years old and starting to study for my A+ N+ and ccna in April. any advice?
@Thato Mafukati, kudos 👊🏾, starting at this early age is even better so my advice to u is Don’t Give Up and Don’t cram but know your stuff 💯

Do you need to be really smart and start young to be in network technician field? I’m 33 and thinking to switch career
Hi San, YES it does have its advantages but NO you don’t need to be really smart and young to be a network engineer or technician but you do need to have lots of zeal for learning. At 33 you most definitely can get into networking as long as you have the passion and motivation for learning.
You can find some real world networking videos on my networking channel www.CZcams.com/ktslabs
@@KwasiTechSpace thanks
HVAC vs CCNA does anyone have any experience in both career?
