- Thanks for all the support on that last video I’ll be sure to make more like this video and that video they still take a lot of time but I’m knocking that time down thank you for your patience. Hope You Enjoy!!

This is actually a better Peace Deal system than HOI IV has.
Until the ai annoys you with conditional peace deals when you want all of their stuff
@@debilman9065more realism, like Russia never being able to take all of Ukraine, but maybe getting the areas occupied now in the peace deal?
@@debilman9065you can propose this way or capitulate them which gives you all power to alter borders
Dummynation is better than hoi4
I agree that this peace agreement looks good, but I think hoi4's peace agreement represents the intensity and seriousness of the war during that period. after Germany occupied France, it very much hoped for unconditional peace with Britain, but Britain would not Accept it. also on the east front neither the USSR nor Germany would sign a peace agreement after a few huge military victories by one side as in previous wars, those were the days of nationalism, war between great powers would only end when one side was completely destroyed.
We need this to be an actual game
easier said than done 😭
I'll make one but it's gonna take time a lot of time(2 years)
google hoi4
If only it were that easy. Many attempts have been made, including my own.
I want this an game
Most people don't understand how hard it is to add moving units to a large battlefield. This is very good.
What else than flipa clip is he using for editing and all?
honestly as someone who went through days of work to make a war format like this i was constantly getting angry moving units through forests and river cause i always had to place to very tediously
oh, trust me, ive tried lol
i've tried and it's really easy actually
This shit fire 🔥
I played something similar to this in elementary school with a piece of paper and pencil. always shifting the lines. A great way to pass the time.
this except with multiple people
Me too.
I did this with a group of like 30 people last year lol
NO WAY IM NOT THE ONLY ONE LMAO
as you said great way to pass time
i still have one of my textbooks where i drew these maps in the back of it
i even added seas, islands and lakes
i cant believe i'm not the only one who did this lol
When you can't afford HoI4 but make something better accidentally:
Yuh uh
@@DaPremierWAIT YOU STOLE MY LINE-
Ops my line is yuh huh
Why is everyone saying that this is better than hoi4
@@GodOfDoges do you see any navy ?
@@DaPremier that's a good argument fr 🗣️🔥💯
I love how the units move, it’s way better than how the HOI4 frontline AI moves.
I agree. I think it's because there aren't the tiles so it's a lot smoother and more satisfying seeing move rather just the line the line kinda teleporting.
@@heakhaek it's possible to do this in HOI4 if someone can make a custom map but with much smaller tiles, and a whole lot more of em, making the line movement more smooth, and also means pushing takes more effort as you're conquering land bit by bit
Can't wait for hoi5 to be like steel division 2 but on a strategic level
hoi4 does not immediately predict if a battle is won so it wouldn't animate gradual movement like this
It's an animation...
Please make more of this, though preferably with one side being a bit less op
Wars arent fair irl
@@justusP9101 so?
We wanna see more action, we get that by having both sides more equal
@@AlOstosman Gotta point.
@@justusP9101it aint really realistic either it depends on the attrition of the soldiers and how much supply they have
@@justusP9101well I mean look at the current special military operation. Even when one side is supposed to be op, things dont go that way
Thank you brother, you reminded me of a part of my childhood I had forgotten, as a child who had only played games on relatives pc and loved strategic games from the very start. I used to draw imaginative wars in my notebook with tactical descriptions on it and trying to be realistic, and I used to draw them like a story campaign each battle was related to the next one, it was honestly a mashup of everything I had played, Normandy, ww2 japanese islands, vietnam, GLA
1.invasion of the island
2.push from coast to inland,
3.counteroffesive
4.fall back to the sea
5.second invasion etc etc
Man I'd give years of my life to have that notebook back,
Still have that notebook with. I also made MANY such games and drew lengthy rules for each of them. Such a great time
Holy God I found My Twin
I still do this Its Pretty Fun To Dream A Battlefield That You Build Your Own Strategies even In the paper
I'm 14 so I still do it... But i started making startegic board games instead.
Gotta love how he put the enemy industrial zone directly in the front where it could be easily taken.
Let's be honest, that's the way we all did it as kids.
*hides the Rheinland* Yup...only a small boy could do such a childish thing
Germany's Rhineland is really close to France. Silesia was always on the border. Canada's main population centre is practically nestled against the US.
I don't think the people in these comment sections realize that this is a drawing, the creator could've put it anywhere and put it on the border, that's what the comment was talking about, not real life. They didn't say "Wow, France put Germany's industry right on their borders, rigged."
I live in the Balkans and our industrial zone is not only near the border, it's actually in Germany
@@johnnystulic42the people in the original comment complained about the position of the industrial zone of one country, and people explained that it could perfectly be the case. Then you're here saying it could be anywhere. Yes, it is close to the border and people are explaining why. What's the issue
1:30
"Sir we managed to breakthrough and encircle them where they have no prepared defenses"
"oh splendid"
"But unfortunately they pushed us back out of nowhere"
"oh bother"
"Instead we tried a full frontal attack into an entrenched enemy over a river"
"oh no we lost?"
"No sir, it was a massive success, they are suing for peace and accepting all of our demands"
"oh splendid"
It’s the “fuck you, that was absolute bullshit, go straight to Hell“ maneuver
Was just thinking i hope whenever hoi5 comes out, i hope we can command battles like this!
I would love a grand strategy game anout urban warfare, where capturing individial buildings can be important. One can wish
A strategy game about Stalingrad, where you command either the Soviet or German forces around the city, every unit is controllable, every house is a battlefield, every soldier’s life matters.
Fancy way to spell "I love micromanaging"
A strange way of saying you like 0.1 fps
They should make a micromecanic for battles and have the choice of the AI doing it like usual or the player playing if it's an important battle.
Star wars empire at war has a similar feature.
Holy shit this is really good, I hope this actually blows up.
We really need a game like this!
We got Rise of Nations
@@mewhenthewthat game is trash, it is beyond boring
@@mewhenthewbeyond garbage, beyond horrible, beyond boring, i am being fr, i would rather stare at my roof for 1 hour straight than play ron for 10 minutes, ron is just too bad to be even considered a game
idk i never played the game i heard its made by hoi4 community
@@mewhenthew oh kk
Please make more of this, it's very Satisfying!
The Red's could've done things a lot more differently, instead of defending past the river at their capital, they could've withdrawn to the river to put better defense on the capital, and harder to encircle, and focus on taking back their industrial region, when they are in the defense they shouldn't have done a lot of offensives against the blue, they could've had the upper hand even if they had less forces, make sure to use your terrain and strategy mind.
The reds could’ve invested in and prepared kamikaze drones to also hinder the advancing blues. It might not halt them entirely but it would’ve given the reds the much needed time to prepare for a counter offensive.
Their massive counter-offensive, operation flyover, was definitely done with too few resources and they overextended. Perhaps if they moved troops away from their flanks and dug in heavily Iwo-Jima style with the troops they kept there?
It's quite clear red wasn't ready for war,
Red had 9 troops on the border
While blue had 11
It was first strike into reds industrial zone which sealed the wars end in tandem or them not withdraw and defending by the river that caused them to lose 30 thousands troops
Simple, red should have just researched planes because it doesn’t look like either had any in the war. EZ air superiority
@@DanksterPaws Maybe there isn't planes in that era
This itches a very special spot in my brain. i love geography and the planning simulated
A little bit less zoom in and out and one side being less overpowered and it's perfect ! It's was fun to watch
Quite an unfair fight when the Reds Capital is near in the border meanwhile the blue is far back and the industrial zone is also in the capital compared to reds that it is also in the doorstep of enemy
War isn’t fair my boy.
@@everythingexpert4795 I know but the placement is quite bizarre ahhahaha
I will say, one thing you should use more is slow urban fights, bc its almost always a crawling siege in cities, especially modern ones. Plus itd be neat to Stalingrad, Courland, Tobruk, or Konigsberg style pockets holding out with possibility of being freed, rather than pockets being quickly smushed and captured.
Yeah, in 0:25 one of the red circles could break out of the encirclement, but the others maybe could surrender.
This is better than Hoi4, Reminds me of Steel Division 2 or Company of Heroes, really well done, good job
I have no idea why this is really good but it is, and if it would be 20 minutes, I'd watch that.
would love to see more of this, but would be nice if red attacked the flanks whenever blue overextended themselves in one of their many spearhead
they just chilled and let them assault whatever they want despite being manpower being stretched very thin and being highly vulnerable to counterattack
This was awesome!
I can’t believe how many little red circles we saw die in this war. RIP.
This is actually pretty damn fun and engaging. Simple, straight to the point, and no bloated features. Plus that peace deal was really smooth and logical.
absolutely banger, though i can tell this takes *heaps* of effort since i assume this is done frame by frame, well done!!
Watching this again after 3 months made me realize how the editing made it seem like the battles are happening even beyond what we can actually see
Battles are happening even beyond what you can see. I just focus on the main offensives and have to leave out some minor movements. I wasn’t going to do that for this video since I thought it was a waste of time but I decided against it because I think it adds to the realism and quality 👍
@@dumb.mappinghow long did this take⁉️
this is great! i love seeing tactics up close way more interesting than the hoi4 micro
Bro I want you to know you are one of the best at these animations keep up the great work
Very impressive, we need more videos with this level of detail
Ligit what I had to do when I didn’t have my laptop for a month. Great work!
This is good, I want more of these 😅
That was so cool and entertaining to watch. I like the game aesthetic, amazing job
When you buy a copy of hoi4 from the coke addict on the street
This is brilliant! Nice work, the simplicity is amazing, and I like how you showed their battle plans as well.
please create a game of this, as words cant describe how much i like this
also this is funny cuz ive been doing stuff like this with physical drawn maps but the units are colored dice lol
I literally did this with a pencil and eraser instead of paying attention back when I was in highschool😂
I do this with risk pieces lol
I do this with chess pieces because yes
This is my life's goal do game like this for about 8 years since childhood. I'll do this and hope it will be new indie master piece.
Just remember me as Bitnick
When even this game has a better defense system than the one HOI4 does for its AI. Despite suffering losses from blue, they at least place their troops on the defensive line instead of using half of them to garrison other areas.
this is really well made, nice work
Amazing video, I would enjoy seeing more of this.
man this is so well done its better than actuall hoi4
i hope you make more of these videos
Bro Your So Cool At This Even I’ve Started Using FlipaClip. Thanks So Much For Influencing Me To Do This Stuff
Not gonna lie, this is some pretty great work. Battle animations are tedious as heck, I speak from experience.
Those pincers and encirclements... Chefs kiss
This would actually be a fun game!
vastly better peace deal than hoi4 in this
Yooo I think I see a lot of inspiration from Eastory, those videos are awesome and this one is definitely in that vein.
I literally use MS paint back when i don't have HOI4
Bro just get a pirate version of hoi4💀
That's honestly really impressive props to you!
used to do a similar thing with my friend back in 5th grade. i think we called it Countries or something, where basically a GM would draw out a map and the two players would issue their orders, starting as tribes and working their way up to cities. Its been years and now I run a DND campaign. Some things never change.
A mobile strategic game in this style would be so fun!
This is a masterpiece, keep up with this good work!
This was surprisingly entertaining
Yeah right, like its so easy to just push through an urban area like that. The battle in that industrial zone should be long and grueling not some quick push. That is unless the enemy has barely any industry to speak of in the first place.
And the battle of stahliv should have been a nightmare for blue. You dont encircle enemy units in a city. Said city can easily act as great fortification and can quickly turn into a meat grinder for the attacking side.
Have you ever heard of NRP? You'd be a fucken God at it.
Whats that?
This is really well made considering it's made in Flipaclip. Good Job!
He made a new HOI4 inspired "game" on Flipa clip. What a legend
why is this actually amazing
My only problem with this video is you always see blue advance more then red which kinda feels unrealistic sense both armies would be aware of their weaknesses and try and conpinstate for the disadvantages or have a final battle that has red go on the counter offenseive because the more they retreat the closer they get to their supply lines
Unit shapes ideas
Square:tanks
Triangle: armoured cars
circle: infantry
Place shape
Big square: Capital
Circle: city
Capital should be a star
the game is already ended when enemy can't even defend with river 🤣🤣
WHOOOOOOHOOOO I NEED MORE... A full serie of this
this is like the battle of stalingrad but hungarian and romanian help for the german is usefull
it gives me inspiration for my own projects 🤩🤩🤩
just amazing!
Am I the only one who draws stuff like this during classes?
This was one of the funnest videos I have ever watched
When I was a kid,I used to make a fictional map then create countries and then...war.
It is very interesting that this is probably one of the most accurate war maping i have ever seen good job man
Tbh this looks way more fun
This inspired me to make something like this but on a larger scale and 30 fps
I actually do this on paint 3D. Got a spreadsheet for all my countries and everything. Takes a long time to do battles like this though
I enjoyed every second of it, good job.
As a HOI4 player, I can't really afford skills like this
Pls make more videos like that. That is amazing
Can you make video to how to make your videos pls you will see the support
Whoa this is amazing!
maybe during the height of the war or battle another side would join the war and fully destroy one of sides. Some sorta third party intervention or dipmomatic pressure from a much more powerful nation
Wow, I lvove this! That is something I was looking for for ages! Keep up the great work :)
I don’t have hoi4 and I’m living great video hope u succeed I follow😅
You could make an entire webseries whit lore and stuff whit this lmao
I do this in my notepad at work when I'm bored. Pen to draw the borders, towns, roads etc & pencil for stuff that moves like divisions and front lines 😅
same hahahaha
this is probably the best thing I have see today
1. Facts since I lso not have Steam for Hoi4
2. The video needs HOI4 Soundtrack to it
3. You need a Oscar
i love your style
bro purchased hearts of iron 0.5
this video is so nice :) Btw, what is the preferred FPS for animating this and how did you go through the process of shifting the lines? Whenever I make a map thing it just stays on the frams so everytime I shift army movements I have to erase some parts of the map and redraw it later after repositioning
How long did this take?
Red's HIgh command is awfully arthritic and slow
I need more of this kind of video
This is really high quality work. Keep at it!
Always wanted a game like this
I mean, this is cooler than hoi4 will ever be~ When I was little I liked pretending the coloring I was doing was invading the white of the page in a war! xD
This could be a CZcams series.
Or I could use this as inspiration for my own war show if I make one. Ty!
the fact that he made it on flipa clip and its 2 minutes this man deserves a sub from us
In school I make a google slides and each slide is a different front. Really fun to play
Don't know why I'm so immersed by this, this is awesome
Reminds me of when I used to make train sets in MS Paint.
Battle of Stalhiv was the most scariest part, for sure.. imagine being stuck in a destroyed city, knowing that youre gonna die.
I hope that someday there will be a game where wars will look exactly in this EaStory style. At the moment there is only one very crude game in this style, called wargame constructor
