Awesome video Tim. No frills to the point how to video. Well done. That supercharger definitely sounds different with the new lid. No doubt about that.
Thanks Rick! My car is mostly used on road course tracks. I never changed intakes because I have not been convinced of the benefit. Stationary dyno stats could be different than a car moving forward getting air through the grille snorkel. Also, the lid seals out warm engine air.
@@ShelbyFlyer thank you Been trying to decide if I should extend my warranty but I know one day I am going to mod it Btw, I have a Ruby Red ‘22 GT500 You car help make my decision on the color 3900 miles But that upgrade seems so doable but install by someone else lol Above my pay grade 🤣
Am one of your fan and following you and see all your vid and am really apprecite all details and support you share about GT500 . But am really get confused why you still not tune or modify the car????? . Atleast CAI ?? Am really excited and waiting for you to install Raptor R stock pulley one the GT500 and keep it on stock tune. If it will work fine and doesn'y require tune any more am going to run same this setup. Thanks
Thanks! I haven’t ruled out mods and a tune. I just drive the snot out of my car at the track. If I needed any warranty work, my best chances would be un-modded.
Have you ever used any coolant additives? I’ve heard of redline offering something called water wetter and heard it helps on hotter track days for some people.

Do you have any issues with the carbon wheels losing any air? My front wheels seem to lose air very slowly over time. Like 2-5 psi over 2 weeks if I’m not driving the car. Checked them for leaks and didn’t see any at all. Not sure if this is common with carbon wheels or not.
Really appreciate you taking the time to make these man. Been a huge help.
Thanks for the feedback! 🍻

Thanks Mr. Keith! 🍻
Excellent narrative Tim 💎🐍🐍🐍🐍
Thanks Matt! 🍻
Excellent video, Tim!!!
Thanks Fletch! 🍻
I like the whine. I had a 2021 GT500 and no whine at all. My 2008 KR had a nice whine from the SC.
My 2011 GT500 with a 2.9 Whipple is a screamer!
Great job on that install video!!
Thanks! 🍻
Looks sick through
Awesome job. Again.
Thank you sir! 🍻
Going to order mine.
Great video!!
Thanks! 🍻
Great video as always. This mod is amazing. Any reason you don’t run a cold air kit?

From where you get the signature plate on the Lid ?
It look like custom plate
A member on the GT500 forum made them for me: www.fordgt500.com/posts/3011207/
Excellent video!! This is on my mod list for my 2022 GT500.
Thanks! 🍻 My install portion should make it easy for you.
@@ShelbyFlyeris this a warranty killer ? Do you know ?
@@SidneyB76 Should not affect warranty. It maintains stock pulley and stock tune.

I am familiar with Water Wetter, but have not tried any additives.
Think I'm just going to keep mine stock. That looked like dropping hardware would be so easy
Simply don’t drop stuff! Have a good grip on the hardware.
🎉
16:30, come on we need a close up of what’s under there. I see some super charger internals!
I have no power adder mods on my car if that’s what you mean.
Did you get the VMP street innercooler or the race innercooler with the Apex lid?
Watch the video. I explain it all.

I have 3 sets of the CF wheels and do not have any issues with pressure lost. Over inflate them and submerge in water. You have a leak somewhere.
46 miles half a tank lol
I have had that with a full tank after a track day!
too many winy babies LOL , stick with da OEM ! if you want a hellcat just buy one
This is mainly for cooling and better flow.
