So glad Elizabeth had all the time to finally share her heart with Nathan after all the years of running and interuptions. This scene was everything I could have hoped for on so many levels that expressed the beauty of this complex and layered relatiohsip!
Rosemary was probably complaining to Lee that Bill had left her out on what was going on and because of that she and Elizabeth were put in danger! So, Elizabeth was able to have that time alone with Nathan. I'm sure glad too. I loved the apology she made. Then admitted it was fear that stopped her from being in a relationship, that whole speech, and then Elizabeth declared, "Nathan, I'm in love with you." It was beautiful! 😍 ❤ 🔥 😊
Anyone who has waited 5 years for this, and didn't have tears in their eyes, has no human feeling! This was the best scene ever.

It also spoke volumes when she said he was distractingly handsome in the red serge as well as suspenders. It was as if she was making it clear that the red serge wasn't the only thing that she was seeing when she looked at him.

This was such an amazing episode. And I'm glad that they had Elizabeth revisit the past and try to explain to Nathan why the timing didn't work. This is what a real relationship is, it's hard, easy, messy, complicated, passionate, etc. No path goes according to plan. Anyone who has followed this series knows that they belong together on so many levels. It just makes sense. So happy watching them together. Great acting.

Oh my! Best show on TV! Finally...We had to wait 11 episodes but it was all worth it...Team Nathan. The episode was filled with so much drama. First, I appreciate the apology from Elizabeth which was beautifully written, thoughtful, and heartfelt. Second, I laughed when she said "distractingly good looking in serge or suspenders" - Yes!. I was surprised that Nathan had no words...I guess he was just as shocked as I was hearing such words of love and affirmation coming from Elizabeth and then the perfect kiss. Third, I was sobbing saying...what are Elizabeth and Nathan doing to me? It really made my night. Please writers and actors keep up the excellent work.

It is one of the best romantic scenes I have ever seen. I went back to watch the ending of S8 with her and Lucas. They both said in their speech to one another that night, AFTER THE BRIDGE, that “I am falling deeply” but neither said “I am in love with you.” This is a “When Calls the Heart” kind of love. It feels like home. They did not have to rewrite this script. Elizabeth drew on their history with one another. Her whole speech before the kiss came out of the relationship that Nathan and Elizabeth’s fans had always seen and could not understand why they pivoted to Lucas. Her eyes have always followed him. Even when dancing with Lucas on a couple of occasions. Her face would light up when talking to Nathan. Nathan would challenge her. We saw this all along. They wrote a nice story for her and Lucas after they wrecked where this one was going, but here, S11, ep11, they corrected course and landed the plane.

I really wondered how they are going to fix this. How they are going to make us feel less confused, less cheated on, less angry about that senseless Lucas pairing, and they DELIVERED! Wow..Liquid gold! I really hope the person who made that decision is not allowed near a script or a movie again, because he managed to traumatize 90 percent of their viewers. For the 10 percent of you who think Elizabeth and Nathan are so boring, they have you disgusted and throwing up all over the place, please stop watching for your own sanity and well-being. This ship is sailing all the way to marriage, a blended family, and a lifetime.
What are you going to do? Hope you are not still throwing up, you might not survive.
And enough with the personal attacks. Nathan is honest, upright and steadfast; a perfect compliment to Elizabeth . Moreover, Elizabeth is allowed her mistakes. It is her life, her decision, not yours or mine.

Elizabeth calling Nathan impeccable reminds me of in season 8 when Nathan was gonna loose his job because of something (fort clay?). Allie burst into the courtroom and has a whole spiel about her uncle (this was pre-adoption) being a great man. In it she calls him impeccable, I think because she'd learned that vocabulary word from Elizabeth. Not sure if the writers intentionally had Elizabeth call Nathan impeccable in this scene as a throwback to that or not, but I'd like to think they did.
According to a TV Insider interview Erin and Kevin did, the “impeccable” part was Erin’s idea, indeed as a callback to that Allie episode.

Kinda like the banana bread and her wearing the same outfit from when he first said he loved her- whether it’s the writers or actors, the callbacks are definitely intentional. She also calls Nathan impeccable when she signs his copy of her book!
And when Elizabeth tells Nathan she can’t be with him in the Season 8 finale in the jail, she stopped at the door before leaving and said something like “please tell Allie I’ll always think your impeccable.” So it’s a call back to that too!

I have waited 6 years, had to watch Lucas win..and I almost gave in-‘s accepted the fate, until. This. Since there first interaction in town I knew they were perfect! Nathan is her home. Like Jack, but she’s is right he’s not replacing him. Jack will always be special to her. But Nathan is also just a different kind of special. He was always there for her, and a true honest friend. Now he finally gets his chance to be her, one.
I love Lucas and I really am loving his story as well. And I’m calling it/hoping he now gets paired with Faith!
I feel Fiona would be a better match for Lucas as they have a lot in common.

Fiona Miller comes back in episode 12 for Mei Su wedding and Kylie Wallace filming schedule has no conflicts for season 12 so maybe Fiona will be in all of season 12 ? Faith already has legal guardianship of Lille and Faith will probably adopt Lille if and when her grandmother dies
You know when both Nathan and Lucas along with Fiona arrived in season six I feel the writers truly missed a great opportunity in beginning with Lucas and Fiona in season 6 when Fiona complements Lucas on his French ? Both Lucas and Fiona had that air of mystery and having traved and come from comfort with a good education?But everyone was so invested in the annoying love triangle with Elizabeth and Lucas and Nathan. ?@elliananess419

Cuz how I always saw it was Lucas was too much like Elizabeth’s “Hamilton side”, and Nathan is her side in which she left Hamilton in the first place. Her home yk.
Fiona is a total girl boss and ambitious like Lucas is. I think he would totally fall for her, but also let her do her own thing and be her own thing at them same time. And vis-versa. Idk I’m excited to see where they take it all! Scared this may be our final season tho 🫣🥺

Fiona is definitely a mirror of Lucas. The female version of him.
The way she can easily pick up and leave and explore and be resourceful is great as a partner for the Governor.
Faith will not just leave Hope Valley and travel with Lucas. She couldn't even leave with Carson.
Faith will probably be an adoptive mother and someone else will come along who will fit into HER plans for the future. Which seems like a family but staying in Hope Valley.
