    In allowing for greater range of movement and natural flow of motion, Pivot Pegz Footpegs allow for enhanced feel and better bike control. At the same time, Pivot Pegz work to facilitate improved shifting of weight, reduced body jarring, and diminished fatigue over long hauls on the bike. This isn't a review

    But how does the pivoting action hold up to a crash?? What about the spring in the pivot point, how long does it last before the peg just starts flopping all around?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  Před 4 lety +1

      The spring is very strong, so it doesn't really ever get that loose, and it's durable enough to handle a good deal of crashes. -DrewZilla

      No problems with crashes. I have broken an OEM aluminum peg before in a crash, but these being stainless are super strong. I had a pivot spring break after 25,000 mi of ADV riding, but they give you spares in the service kit. The peg still works fine without the pivot spring too.

    Im 6ft-4inches. Can these be lowered so cockpit on dirt bike fits better too?

      These cannot be lowered by themselves. You would need some kind of adapter to lower the peg mount point. It seems most people of your height just go with a taller seat and taller handlebar. -DrewZilla

      I don't think you'd want to lower them because then you'd have to lower your gear shift and brake.

      I just looked at the Pivot Pegz web site and they stated they can be lowered and they can be locked if you don't want them to rotate. Perhaps it's a newer version. Not sure. I'm getting a set!
