100% agree with Craig's view on us relying on kids such as Bobby Clark, Dan's, Jones etc, and we believe we can keep pace with City and Arsenal who have quality experienced players that cost money, and when this season we find ourselves between 4-6 in the table I just hope supporters realise who is at fault, and don't start having digs at Arne Slot, only one person or group who should be at fault and that's FSG.
Klopp looked like he had been with us for 20 years, he knew he needed 2-3 good upgrades, like every year, but owners tell him he has a net spend of £40 million, he knew this could not be done. Big club with mid table spend owners.

The transfer window is very much still open. No need to panic just yet. And I for one don't want Liverpool to go out signing players like Chelsea did, which is overpaying for the wrong players. I trust we will sign the players needed and how much they cost is irrelevant.

Fee could be a problem though as Bologna agreed on a 40% sell on clause with Basel, they want €30m which means the fee would be about €50m atleast. (which in todays market isn’t even that bad for a player his age and his potential)

The only way we spend a decent amount of money is if we sell Salah/Diaz or Trent. Our owners are a joke when it comes to transfers. We just don’t compete in the transfer windows and I still think this played a big part in Klopps decision to leave.
We had the same last summer when we had to settle for the Cheap option in Endo
100% agree. Talk of us being after defenders, midfielders, strikers who are valued at or around £65 million plus, never going to happen, possibly one, but other signings will be £25-30 million potential signings, who may in 2-3 years might be at the level required. Not unless we sell.
But again most of us here are fans of the club but sometimes we have to speak facts here. These owners DON'T CARE ABOUT WINNING. If they had a contact for ♾️ UCL qualification but never win anything they would sign it really quick. I don't get how we are here and no one can guarantee that we sign more than 3 players let alone 2. Have you seen our running at the end of the season of the season.
