  • Segment 1: Escape from North Korea
Thousands of North Koreans cross the border into China illegally every year. Living in perpetual fear of being discovered, with all odds against them, defectors still do everything they can to leave. If arrested in communist Laos, they may be sent back to North Korea to face prison camp or worse. The risks of escaping the North and heading to the South are so great that fewer than 25,000 North Koreans have ever made the journey successfully. VICE joins a South Korean pastor who has developed a modern-day underground railroad to move defectors from China to freedom and eventual citizenship in South Korea.
Segment 2: World's Most Dangerous Border
The most dangerous place in the world is Kashmir's line of control, which partially occupies the Indian state and separates India from Pakistan. Observers in both India and Pakistan believe the decades-old conflict between the two nations could potentially lead to the end of the world as we know it. VICE travels across Pakistan to the contested line of control in Kashmir, pointing out how close a nuclear apocalypse is yet again.

I believe, most Indians do not hate Pakistnis either. However, politicians know how to divide and conquer and they're riling up uneducated, easy to sway folks in both countries furthering their own agenda. I wish there could be peace amongst these two countries.

politicians also come from within the country, so yeah the people of each country do not like the other country. it's true our cultures are similar and people themselves dont hate the people on the other side. it is also true, that politicians here use fear of Pakistan to win elections and spread more hatred and distrust and I feel its same in Pakistan too. having said that old wounds and geopolitics can't be removed from discussion, and it will take a long time before we can be friends if ever. According to me the reasons due to which the war has not started don't matter. The only good thing about this is that war has not started yet and as a result both countries do not have to suffer the loss of millions of lives. Its easy to sit in your home and encourage war but nobody is concerned about the loss of life and limb that's going to take place if a war takes place.

What currency do they use and what bank backs that currency? What about pensions for the future? Healthcare? List goes on and on. Kashmir could be a great place for tourism if it were India's. If it were to go to pakistan it would just be a breeding ground for more terrorism. If the sides were flipped and Pakistan was the secular, more open country and India was the dysfunctional one..then I'd say Pakistan should of course have it.
