I hate to say this because Trump is a monster, but my Dad recently died of Parkinson's and Biden is acting just like him. My dad was a physician who specialized in critical care medicine. He would ride on the Life Flight helicopters and loved the rush of trauma medicine. He was funny and animated and was sharp as hell. Residents loved him for his knowledge, humor, and ability to teach. Watching him get railroaded by Parkinson's was agonizing. He diagnosed himself and finally told me he had it two years later. Biden is exhibiting the exact same monotone speech, shuffling gait, rigid body posture, and searching for words to finish sentences. The guppy-like lips opening and closing as he searches for words is exactly what my dad did. And one of the other things that happened is he thought other people didn't notice like Biden is hoping. It took three attempts before my dad retired, and that was what finally took the wind from his sails. Without medicine, he didn't think he had a purpose. My dad was just a few months away from dying and he told me, "Kid, I don't think I'm going to beat this thing." He really thought something was going to happen in the 11th hour to save the day. Biden used to be animated and well-spoken. He clearly has Parkinson's and I wish so much he didn't. I am not a doctor, but I know what Parkinson's does to larger-than-life people. It deflates them from the inside out. I am watching Biden wither away and I think he needs to step down. Although, I believe that Trump getting the skin of his ear grazed will win the election for him. 30 plus felonies... what happened to the 3 strike law? All that said, Reagan was in late-stage Alzheimer's his entire second term, and we didn't turn into North Korea.
